Welcome to Pinehurst! This clean and cozy ground-floor golf-front condo is ideal for golf trips, weekend excursions, longer visits, even staycations. Enjoy a well-stocked kitchen, comfortable furnishings, attractive decor and a screened porch with peaceful fairway views. Very near the Village ("Old Town"), prime dining and shops, the Fair Barn, harness track and Pinehurst Resort; just 10–15 minutes to downtown Southern Pines and Aberdeen. Quiet, walkable, welcoming, and a perennial guest fave!
The space
We're experienced Airbnb hosts AND frequent guests ourselves, so we've put a lot of thought into creating the kind of space we always hope to stay in - clean, cozy, well-stocked, and full of personality. We want you to walk into The Sonder Condo and feel like you're a welcome guest in a good friend's home, which just happens to be perfectly located in one of Pinehurst's prettiest and most peaceful neighborhoods.
Take full advantage of the screened back porch - it's a great spot to soak up golf course views, a Carolina breeze, and that beautiful blue sky. Windows along the back bring the outdoors in, and the whole condo has a comfortable, laidback vibe that invites you to make yourself at home.
One of the most common questions we get: "Can you walk to the village?" The answer is, yes, and many guests do! It's about a mile, and while probably not ideal in heels on your way to a wedding, it's a scenic and enjoyable stroll in comfortable shoes. (Check out the aerial photos for a better idea of the distance and surroundings.)
Speaking of walking, if you head away from the condo in the opposite direction - toward Lake Pinehurst - you'll discover miles of quiet, winding (and hilly!) streets through some of Pinehurst's most beautiful neighborhoods.
Whether you're in town to relax, explore, celebrate, work or play, we truly hope you enjoy your stay as much as we love sharing this space.
P.S. Walking to the resort or village? Here's the easiest route:
From the back of the condo, cross the fairway to the golf path and follow it up to Highway 5. Cross at the pedestrian/cart path crossing - this brings you right to the back of the Pinehurst Resort parking lot. From there, turn left to explore the walking paths into the historic village, or head right toward the Fair Barn and harness track (a slightly longer walk).
It's about a quarter-mile to the resort and less than a mile to the heart of the village using this shortcut. One note: If you choose to cross the fairway, please be mindful of golfers and avoid doing so during active play. This is a scenic and easy stroll - just bring your walking shoes (and a flashlight at night)!

The entire condo is yours during your stay - there are no shared areas. Make yourself at home.
Other things to note
If you need an early check-in or late check-out, please feel free to ask - we're happy to accommodate whenever we can! Just keep in mind that it will depend on our cleaning schedule, maintenance needs, and other guest arrangements. If we can make it work, we absolutely will. Thanks for understanding!
And a quick heads-up about laundry: There isn't a washer or dryer inside the unit, but you're welcome to use the community coin-operated machines located in the building just across the parking lot (it's to your left if you're standing at the condo's front door looking out toward the parking lot). Super easy access if you need it during your stay! The access code is in the house manual.
