  • I stayed at Tania's place for 3 days, after a trip to Machu Picchu. She was lovely, and at first I thought she didn't speak English, but she does.

The place is located close to Plaza del Armas and the 12 sided stone.

In front of the gates there are a Japanese and a local restaurant. Bojosan and Deva. Both are very good.
The top roof view are amazing. At night you can see the White Christ.
Rooms are very clean, with cable TV with lots of channels, including BBC for English speakers, and Globo for Brazilians.
Wifi reception and speed was good.
There is a garden inside the building, which was very beautiful.

On the second day at Munaycha, there were an old man doing some sort of Inca ritual for the earth. I ended up participating, which added a lot more to the trip.

Definitely I recommend staying at Tania's place.

  • There is no better host in Cuzco than Tania and no better place to stay than in her hostel in centre of the city. She arranged a trip to Machu Picchu/Huayna Picchu at very short notice through a friend. The room was clean with a good bed. Breakfast is simple but good and can be taken on the roof terrace. Strongly recommended!!

  • We had a very good stay at Tania's place in Cusco. Our room was clean and neat, nicely cared for each day and the breakfasts and the view from her roof were great. She helped us to adjust to our Altitude sickness on our first day so we were able to enjoy our entire visit. The room was very clean, lots of hot water for the showers and a great welcome fro her and her family. Thanks Tania

  • Fantastic place, very clean and close to everything. Only two blocks from the plaza. Tania is a fantastic host. Just remember to get good directions as it is hard to find when visiting for the first time.

  • We stayed in one of Tania's rooms for 4 nights in Nov 2013. The room was always kept very clean and it is a very safe location. Definitely get explicit directions as it's tucked behind a school. Plenty of hot water and a nice breakfast as well each morning up in the terrace. Walk to everything, even the Jesus Christ statue if you care to walk a bit! Definitely recommended.

  • Yet again, another incredible experience. Comfy bed, beautiful views from the 4th floor terrace. Tania is so accommodating. I will be back.

  • We had a wonderful stay with Tania. From the moment she met us at the airport till when we left. Tania has a ready smile and nothing seems to be too much trouble. She provided us any information we needed and yes that thermos of hot water for a cup of tea was most appreciated. We loved the central location and the setting of the hostel though it is so well tucked away it would be prudent to make precise arrangements as to how to enter the compound the first time you arrive. I would recommend staying here.

  • This little place is in a great location. You can walk to the Plaza de Las Armas and many other places. You are close to the Railroad station and 30 min from the airport.

The place itself is located behind the courtyard of a school, but it is very quiet. The rooms are immaculate, white glove clean. My room was very comfortable and I had hot water 24 hours. The bed was great.

The only issue I had with this lovely place is that there was no one to ask any questions. I am an experienced traveler so I don't need someone 24/7, but it would have been nice to be able to ask anyone a question.

I met Tania my first day when she came to get me at the airport. She is a lovely warm person. I saw her briefly the next day and that was it.

I had problems with the front door and there was no one to talk to or ask about it. When I left on Sunday I was hoping that I would have no problems. I left the key in the room and caught a taxi from the street. I am fluent in Spanish so it was not traumatic for me.

I would highly recommend this place.
