Very close to Piazza San Marco and Rialto, bright and fresh studio for two people.
The studio (30 sq mt) is part of the fourteenth-century Palazzo Malipiero overlooking Grand Canal next to Palazzo Grassi, located in the delightful San Samuele district - a calm and cultured neighbourhood with a gentle, upmarket buzz where galleries sit close to antique shops, well clear of the hustle and bustle yet a mere stone's throw to the Palazzo Grassi Museum of Modern Art and the Campo Santo Stefano with its inviting outdoor cafes and local colour.
The studio is located on the third floor and consists of a large quiet room with high ceilings (with two beds, a kitchenette - kitchen cabinet - and a large table) and a separate nice fully equipped bathroom. The room and bathroom are both bright and sunny and overlook venetian roofs.
The studio is equipped with wifi internet, washing machine, toaster, TV, heating and air conditioning. Public transports just next to the house (San Samuele vaporetto stop). The two beds, if required, can be pulled and tighten together to form a comfortable queen size bed.
Close to a grocery/delicatessen and wine shop and opposite the gallery of world famous Venetian wood sculptor Livio De Marchi, well known for ‘driving’ through the canals of Venice in his carved wooden ‘cars’ and, for scent-lovers, steps from Venice outlet of the famous Florentine ‘Officina Profumo Farmaceutica di Santa Maria Novella’ – one of the oldest pharmacies in the world and one time fragrance maker to Catherine de’ Medici.
Beautiful multiplex cinema at 5 minutes walk (Multisala Rossini) with 3 movie theatres.

Martina's place has a perfect location. Still the neighborhood is calm but has some great shops, pubs and restaurants. The place itself is as described and her mother was right there to help us get settled.
The apartment was excellent, right on the Grand Canal and serviced by a vaporetto stop. I knew nothing about the island of Venice before I arrived, but I was able to easily walk to the apartment from the Santa Lucia train station. Martina and her mother Francesca made communication very easy. The apartment itself was ideal for my month-long stay in Venice: set up with two twin beds dormitory-style with a hideaway kitchen and full bathroom, as well as a spectacular view of the Venetian rooftops. I highly recommend this apartment for not only the space itself, but the gracious and wonderful hostesses that mKe you feel welcome in bellisima Venezia.
Had a great few days in Venice, the apartment was good and in an excellent location. Receiving the keys all worked very smoothly. Highly recommended.
Very sweet apartment in the centre of Venice. From here you can start your tour by Vaporetto or just walk everywhere you want to go. We had a great time, cooked almost every night in the little kitchen area and spend the days outside.
Martina was very responsive with all questions and inquiries. Her mother Francesca was helpful as well. This was our first visit to Venice, the location of the apartment was perfect. Martina's instructions for finding the apartment were clear and easy to follow. The apartment was quiet and close to transportation. The apartment was very clean and had all the amenities that we could expect. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Martina's studio.
This is a very compact apartment. We liked the simplicity of the interior and the high ceiling. The bathroom is rather spacious. There is everything you need. You can find it in cupboards. The mother of Martina lives close by and she can come if something is not functioning. The two beds were covered with wonderful thick white cotton sheets. We were very happy with the good situation in the city. Just outside the front door, there is a quite plaza directly to the Grand Canal. You can sit on one of the benches enjoying the sunset. From this quite place there is a short distance to the touristic areas.
