Beautiful apartment with balcony in the Recoleta district, one block away from Plaza Vicente Lopez, in a very quiet street though close to shops and restaurants. This unique spot in the Recoleta neighbourhood is right in the middle where the elegant porteños live. Small restaurants where locals go offer homemade meals that showcase the real porteño taste.
A mixture between the french aim Buenos Aires had in early 1900, the anglo impression british imprinted with their business and the italian flavour that immigrants brought in. This cosmopolitan blends shows up in every trendy shop you find in Recoleta with upscale shows that cost half the price their competitors in USA, and even less comparing them to the shops in Europe.
But location is not only about what happens just few blocks around. This apartment is walking distance from the most renowned and important museums and art centers, as well as art galleries and antique shops.
Plaza San Martín, the entrance point to Downtown and Plaza de Mayo is only eight blocks away. Recoleta Cemetery is only six blocks away. And our blocks are only 100 meters long, i.e. 333 feet! piece of cake for a walk.

My husband and I went to BA for part of our honeymoon. And we had a wonderful time in Ximena's apartment!! She picked us up from the airport for US$20 and helped orient us to BA. She even greeted us with a bottle of champagne to celebrate our honeymoon! She was accessible and super helpful throughout our time there. The apartment is in a great location. We walked everywhere and took cabs only a few times. It's a studio with a mini-kitchen and has a nice little balcony. I highly recommend!
We enjoyed our stay here, the location is terrific, safe walking around day and night, great restaurants near-by. Secure building we made it our home away from home, buses are noisy when the doors are open! all in all a comfortable stay great value. Kerri
Superb location and area.attractive apartment and furnishings and bath tub. Only a few minor hitches connecting with info. Lovely, but small for three
I really enjoyed my time in Recoleta. The apartment is as pictured and in a very convenient location. Ximena is a true professional and so helpful, she helped arrange ground transportation and even stored AND DELIVERED my luggage for a week for me, which went above and beyond my expectations. Highly recommended.
App in urbaner Lage, gut zu erreichen, Restaurants und Geschäfte in der Nähe. Urban heißt aber auch Strassenlärm. Trotzdem sehr zu empfehlen.
Our stay in Buenos Aires at the apartment was truly magical. The balcony looks over recoleta and the clock tower, and was the perfect spot for breakfast as well as wine before dinner. Ximena was a gracious host who made sure out stay was comfortable as possible, as well as providing great recommendations for things to do and see in the city. We cannot wait to go back. Muchas gracias Ximena.
Ximena's apartment in Recoleta was great! It's located right in the heart of the neighbourhood, and within walking distance of tons of great cafes, shops, restaurants and attractions. And the balcony was incredible - it provides a beautiful view of the neighbourhood, and served as a great place to relax with a bottle of wine.
As a host, Ximena was excellent. While we did not have the pleasure of meeting her in person, she had someone at the apartment to greet us when we arrived, and offered to hold our luggage at her place after check-out, so we could explore the city for a few hours before our flight.
I would definitely stay at this apartment again!
Ximena was a great host. She was easy accessible and gave us useful tips for our stay in BA. The apartment was cozy and in a great location, and we loved the balcony.
Cute apt was exactly as described. The neighborhood was charming and safe which was nice. We ended up eating in Palermo a lot but we liked staying in Recoletta- my 55 year old mom who loves all things Paris was particularly fond of it. Gracias por todo!
It was my first experience, booking through Airbnb. Ximena answered my e-mail really quick and was very kind and helpful. The apartment was so nice with a great balcony and a big and nice bed. The Pictures describes the room perfectly. It was a nice experience to stay in Ximenas apartment. I will recomend it to everyone who's looking for a place to stay in Recoletta in Buenos Aires.
