This bedroom suite is in the heart of the Casco Antiguo, just a five minute walk to Plaza de España and parking is very near. Drive right up to the house on calle de la Fuente, drop off your bags & park! only12 km from the most spectacular beaches.
This is a very unique, spacious bedroom suite in the casco antigua of Vejer, just a few minutes walk to Plaza de España. Attention has been given to every detail; there is small hanging closet next to the bed, a small kitchenette space has been created perfect for breakfast & tapas with a cold glass of wine. There is small fridge just outside the room with a tea kettle & is equipped with basic cooking necessities for the occasional meal. Lovely & spacious patio to have your breakfast. Old stone arches are in the bedroom, patio & bathroom & date back several centuries. The bathroom is done with travertine & 1920's glass tiles & is separated from the bedroom by an ancient stone archway & a curtain, (not a door).
internet wifi just 5 minute walk to Plaza de España where there are delicious restaurants & tapa bars & many festivities. Vejer is extremely rich in cultural surprises, music throughout the town, outside restaurants, a sweet flea market the first Sat of the month & spectacular beaches just 12 km away.
I absolutely love it here!
the kitchenette, patio, entry, small table with 2 chairs outside the window.
There is a bus it comes to the tourist office which is about a 15 minute walk from the house that will take you to the beach El Palmar once a day in the winter and also to other towns/cities.

Vejer has been such a wonderful experience for me.
A fantastic ancient village dressed in white on top of a mountain, caressed by the winds and blessed with an abundance of grand views. The bluest of all skies, real people and narrow windy streets as if walking through a fairy tale.....
Debras Old World Bedroom suite was perfect for me.
Simple and tasteful, humble but still luxurious.
My door to a small beautiful courtyard with a space to prepare a simple meal, make a coffee or a tea and a fridge to keep things cool ( probably much needed in the hot times of the year). If you are lucky you will meet some pleasant neighbours
My utterly hospitable host Debra had managed to preserve the magic and radiance of those ancient walls while creating a warm and pleasant atmosphere - I felt welcome and very lucky to have found such a delightful place with the old town of Vejer literally at my doorstep.
I am looking forward to my next times...
Thank you Debra
Thank you Andalusia
What a charming place. Debra has seen to every detail with her artistic and warm touch . I felt at home right away and she is a wonderful host that does all she can to make you feel at home and happy. I give this a big thumbs up and hope to return soon. The town is 12 km from the sea and full of artists. It's on a hilltop with gorgeous views, I wish I could have stayed longer. Debra has very special listings and you cannot go wrong with any of them. Thank you Debra!
Debra is a charming and very helpful host who met us and gave us good information about the town.
Unfortunately we should have read one of the reviews in Spanish which described very accurately what we found.
What we were sold was not an apartment, but an en suite room . The kitchen without water or sink was in a public area in a shared courtyard.
The room was musty, and the blinds were not adequate to have ventilation and privacy in the room. There was no door between the bed and
toilet. In a subsequent conversation with the host we understand that this room is no longer listed as an apartment.
We viewed another of the host's apartments which was outstanding but unfortunately not available at the time we booked.
Hi Graham & thank you for your comments. It is listed as a "Bedroom Suite" & price has been reduced. The listing says kitchenette, with the basics for breakfast & tapas, cold wine, hot tea & coffee. I have 23 really lovely reviews, people that come back & recommend it to their friends & family. Just before you, the guest wrote, "This was a perfect little bungalow for my few days in Vejer. Thanks for having me!"
I'm sorry you didn't feel the same. I hope you enjoyed the rest of your travels!

Thank you, Caroline! It was great having you there and I appreciate that you noticed so many details. I love Vejer and it´s antiquity, it inspires me tremendously with the materials used over the centuries such as the stone archways, the hand made bricks and ancient tiles. We look forward to having you back!!!
A nice and authentic apartment in the center of Vejer (bars, restaurants, parking: nearby) - perfect for a short stay! Because of its small size, it might be better to book one of Debras bigger apartment if you want to stay longer :) But thanks to the lovely furniture, we liked it a lot.
Debra is really nice and everything was easy going.
Brilliant find in Vejer. Very quiet, relaxed and minutes from the beautiful piazza. Stayed for a weekend and it was perfect. Easy to book, host quick to respond and warm welcome. Would definitely recommend.

I am a creative being & very sensitive to my surroundings. I love art & architecture & refer to what I do as integrating art & architecture, the 2 things I'm most stimulated by. I also love music & being with other creative people that also have the need to share something of themselves with the world. I just started renting with airb&b & think it is a fantastic way to connect with people & places in a respectful & honest way!
