Are you looking for a home base to enjoy the adventures of Northeast Iowa’s prime outdoor area ~ Decorah? This second story apartment in the heart of charming Decorah is clean and cozy with an open floor plan, the apartment has plenty of space to relax and enjoy the gem of Northeast Iowa. The two bedroom suite will be all yours and can accommodate up to 5 people comfortably with the two bedrooms (with queen beds), a full bathroom (with washer and dryer for your convenience) and sofa sleeper.

The space
The space has been thoughtfully remodeled and furnished and includes a private entry with dedicated parking. Within the apartment, the kitchen is nicely equipped with all the essentials and there is also a work area so you can handle life should it come calling while you’re on retreat. Large windows allow for plenty of natural light and a unique view of downtown Decorah with its charming shops, restaurants, grocery stores and art scene ~ all within walking distance. The apartment is located above a community Cider House and there is an art studio (with open studios hosted nightly so you can tap into your inner artist) across the street! Whether you're making plans for a brewery release stay, a romantic getaway, fishing trip, or a weekend with your friends this space has everything you need!

From the apartment you can walk to everything in downtown Decorah and the area’s world class fishing and award winning breweries are only minutes away. Entrance to the scenic 11 mile Trout Run trail that loops around Decorah is blocks away with bike or snow play rentals available in town. Access to the Upper Iowa River with fishing and kayaking opportunities is also just around the corner. Go paddle boarding, or rent kayaks and go fishing, enjoy Decorah’s unique festivals, stay for an event at Luther College or enjoy the Decorah Farmers Market (in the Oneota Co-op Parking lot June - October). Throw down your gear and get outside and enjoy what you came here for ~ the beautiful outdoors and lively small town charm. We have found our most satisfied guests are the ones that are here for adventure. If you love the unique Decorah vibe, you’ll love this place!

There will be one, marked, off street parking for one car in the main driveway and other parking easily accessible downtown. The only exception to this is April 9 - 20, 2021 while concrete is being poured and curing for the parking lot. The unit is accessible from an exterior stairwell with two flights of stairs.
