In rural South Carolina farmland
On an 80-acre working farm in the South Carolina Lowcountry, with Scott's BBQ just down the road
80 acres of trails, ponds, and fire pit
Walking trails loop around the property to ponds where guests can fish, spot deer, and build bonfires
Guests keep coming back
Many guests return year after year, with several calling this their most peaceful stay
The best memories are made on the farm. Life is just better away from the hustle and bustle of city lights and busy schedules. Come stay in this recently renovated fourth generation 1950s farmhouse on an 80 acre working farm. Unwind on the porch, walk trails, find millions of years old sharks teeth, build a bonfire, pick blackberries, swim in the ponds, collect walnuts, or just relax while you’re here but don’t forget to wish on a dandelion or a shooting star before you leave.
The space
You will only be two minutes from The Scott’s BBQ and five minutes from local historical sites like The Wellman Golf Course and Venters Landing where a statue of Francis Marion stands. You will also be 15 miles from Back Woods Quail Club which hosts national shooting competitions. If the beach is more your style, you will only be an hour from some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Or stay and sit on the porch smelling the lovely smell of flowers and listening to cheerful birds in the morning and crickets at night, only interrupted by the crackling of a bonfire and the smell or roasting s'mores.
Guest access
Ponds and walking trails. Please park on the gravel and do not drive on the grass in the front yard.
Other things to note
First aid kit is located in the bottom kitchen drawer. Fire extinguisher is behind the dining room door. Security cameras are located on the property.

Fun fact: Married 7 years and have one grandchild
I spend too much time: Working and traveling for work
My husband and I are both from South Caroline and have always enjoyed traveling. Now it’s our turn to take what we have experienced and host guests in our little farmhouse. We love our pets and nature and hope you will too!
