Beautiful waterfront cozy family cottage, newly renovated with uplifting vistas, skylights, clean modern kitchen design, original stone fireplace (natural gas insert), HOT TUB SPA and SAUNA.
This stand-alone cottage is part of a family compound of cottages. Owners live in adjacent cottage. Some shared spaces, message for details.
Watch famous Georgian Bay sunsets from almost anywhere in or outside. The beachfront is a mix of sand/stones which changes with the winds (bring water shoes). Sand begins once you’re in the turquoise clear water of Georgian Bay.
Nice mix of trees on the waterfront lawn for choice of full sun or shade when lounging overlooking the water. New Webber BBQ. Fire pit with one bag of supplied firewood.
Water toys - kayak, canoe, 6 adult Stand Up Paddleboards (SUPs). Contact us for usage details.
Large 60 inch HD TV -Chromcast device for TV (stream your own Netflix, Youtube, Amazon accounts).
Kitchen well supplied with plates, dishes, cutlery, chef knives, glasses, wine glasses, coffee mugs, serving tongues, cheese grater, drip coffee maker, Keurig, pots and pans, dish cloths, j cloth, dish soap, plastic milk bag holder, dish drying rack.
Beds supplied with mattress pads, pillows, linens and quilts.
NO towels (please bring your own).

WINTER USE -
Available year round- 30 minutes from ski hills at Horseshoe Valley, 45 minutes from the Village at Blue Mountain. Cottage is winterized with gas insert fireplace. Close to snowmobile federation trails. (Trailer parking available onsite for skilled operator - otherwise free offsite trailer parking can be arranged). Sauna available year-round (spa closed in winter months).
WINTER USE DETAILS -
The BayHouse is very cozy and picturesque even in winter. Blue Mountain can be seen clearly across the Bay and is pretty to look at the lighted ski runs nighty. The indoor dining table has lovely picturesque views whether you’re there for romantic getaway dining or a “girl’s trip” glamorous winter dining!
We are available at the cottage next door if you have any issues during your stay. There’s a gas fireplace indoors and the cottage stays nice and warm. We have firewood you can use for the sauna or try an outdoor fire and enjoy your cocoa around the fire pit!
There are two bedrooms with double beds and a bunk room. Make sure any adults sharing the bunk room or sleeping on the futon are ok with that ;) Please Note: the bedrooms are tiny and the cottage is about 675 sqft (similar to a Marriott Residence Inn suite).
The hot tub opens only May-Nov. Instead, enjoy an authentic Finnish pine SAUNA experience, the sauna is spacious for 8 people capacity and has eucalyptus infused in the water for a true winter deep-heat experience.
We are also close to the ski hills (30 min to Horseshoe Valley) (45 min to Blue Mountain). The corner Woodland Beach convenience store has an LCBO! You can WALK a short 4 min to the LCBO
GUESTS -
For those who book for 1-4 guests, you can add up to 8 total guests on the reservation (although one gets the futon in the living area) and there’s an additional fee per person over 5 persons but it gives you flexibility to add to the reservation. Please contact us in advance for additional add-on guests.
No refunds given for early check out.
