This fabulous house is located right under the Parthenon, literally in the shadow of Acropolis in the known historical area of Plaka. It has two bedrooms (one double bed and two single beds) and a living room (with a single sofa bed). Apart from the balcony which has a great view of Lycabetus hill and the city of Athens there is a terrace , with a surface of 30sq.m facing the Acropolis where you can relax an enjoy the view.
The metro of Acropolis is less than 200m far from the house. In this area you will see all Athens' sights by walking.
Anafiotika area is a very picturesque (website hidden) is also know as "the island without a sea".Actually it gives the impression of an island with its small white-washed houses, narrow streets and steps, stone walls and gardens full with flowers.
If you have any questions do not hesitate to contact (website hidden) would be my pleasure to help!

I love the location. It was in the Anafiotika neighborhood. I would highly recommend this place.
Although we didn't get the chance to meet with Rania, she organised our pick up from the airport and we were settled into our wonderful apartment by the driver. Nestled below the Acropolis, minutes from the Plaka's restaurants and nightlife, we ambled through the village down to the square. Perfect location, spotlessly clean apartment. Lovely roof terrace, air con which was very welcome in the hot Athens days. Fridge with extras and TV and stereo. All the comforts and quietly located above the Plaka's hustle and bustle. Again not far to the Temple of Zeus. My sister and I enjoyed cocktails on the roof terrace whilst looking across Athen's rooftops. Highly recommend staying at Rania's apartment, and yes it's definitely in the shadow of the Acropolis.
Rania's apartment could not be in a better location (it is literally NEXT to the Acropolis!) and is a very cute, well-kept, and clean apartment. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay, the street is quiet, the beds were comfortable, and the shower was great! The terrace has great views as well. Rania was very nice and we had no problems meeting her or with the apartment. The only thing that could use improvement would be air-conditiong units in the bedrooms: the one unit is in the entrance, and no air gets to the bedrooms making them very hot at night.
Rania's apartment is awesome! Everything you could want and more. Perfect location, close to everything you need to see in Athens. Very clean and well decorated. Spiros is the best driver/host you could ask for. He will help you with whatever you need, and he does it in a very considered manner. 5 stars all the way. Great location, great apartment, amazing views. Highly recommend.
We enjoyed our stay. Great neighborhood and great place.
If you want to stay in a place with a village feel and still smack in the center of Athens within walking distance of all sights, stay at Rania's place. It's clean, cosy and has got everything you need and some more, including tremendous views and, in mid-May when we were there, sunshine on the rooftop terrace from before 7am until after 7pm. The pictures speak for themselves. Rania'(email hidden), and Spiros a helpful driver and provider of advice. We recommend this apartment strongly and would absolutely go back any time.
(email hidden) to stay in Athens - it was dreamlike. Rania's place is exactly as depicted and spotlessly clean. We were a couple and two singles an it suited us perfectly. Spyros is a doll and was very helpful! We were only in Athens a short time to connect to a cruise and this location is so perfect to see all the top nearby sites on foot so we didn't have to waste time on transit. Perfect, perfect, perfect!
Rania's place was the most amazing place to stay! The house feels like it is in a little village within the midst of the huge city. We loved sitting up on the terrace and looking out over the city, having our breakfast and dinner and enjoying the sound of the church bells, with the acropolis right behind us!
Rania was lovely and had the house beautifully clean and tidy, and the fridge and pantry well stocked. She also recommended Spiros, who drove us from the airport. He gave us a guided tour of Athens on the way and was very welcoming and helpful - I would highly recommend staying at Rania's house!
We had such a wonderful time at this beautiful apartment! It’s set directly below the Acropolis in the ‘village’ of (email hidden) just to relax and spend time in, and easily walkable to all the sites of the historic centre. We had intended to take trips to Delphi and Mycenae again as we did last year, but loved it so much here we never made it!
The apartment has a balcony and lovely rooftop terrace with stunning view to the Acropolis in one direction and, in the other, to Lycabettus Hill and beyond.
Every room is well furnished, practical, and is spotlessly clean and fresh. There is an iron and ironing board, hairdryer, coffee maker etc – all tenants’ needs have been catered for, including basics in the fridge, and occasional treats brought round from Rania’s mother, Popi, who lives in the apartment on the ground floor.
Spiros, Popi’s neighbour, met us at the airport and drove us back there after our wonderful 11 days – he’s absolutely punctual, and a mine of information.
Rania and Popi are the most friendly, thoughtful, generous, yet discreet, people we have ever rented from, and we hope to be with them whenever we stay in Athens. Thank you so much!

We spent to two happy weeks based in the apartment, which is part of an old house in the delightful and peaceful 'village' of Anafiotika on the North-East slope of the Acropolis. The aparment really is in the shadow of the Acropolis in the late afternoon, but is in bright sun in the morning and breakfast-time is perfect sitting on the terrace overlooking the Plaka and looking out to Lycabetus Hill in the North. The apartment has recently been throughly modernised and is pristine and welcoming. Perfect for a couple with 2 kids, maybe a slight squeeze for 4 adults (but we managed). You can walk to all of the classical sites of Athens and anywhere in the Plaka in 5 to 20 minutes (the new and fabulous Acropolis Museum is at the end of the street).
Rania, her mother (who lives downstairs) and Spiros (the neighour and taxi driver) are very helpful and welcoming. Getting Spiros to pick you up from the Airport is a good idea (although the apartment is very close to the Acropolis Metro stop, it's uphill all the way). Spiros' rates are fair and his advise on dealing with modern Athens, recommendations for places to visit and where to eat all turned out to be very sound.
