Kids, are welcome!
This is a residential house. Some of the neighbours are elderly people. You need to keep the voice, TV, music down after 10PM. Also be aware of the noise when in the hallway outside the apartment. Thank You :-)
This wonderful, fully equipped appartment is located in the center of budapest. You can reach good restaurants and shopping stores by foot. Grocery stores and a drugstore are just around the corner. I went there with my two brothers in-law and we had a wunderful time. Thanks to Vanessa. She is taking care of the appartment while the owner is living abroad.
Very cosy and central appartment in Budapest.
From the start we had perfect assistance from our host Johanna.
Would come again anytime...
Although I didn't get to meet Johanna, her correspondence by email was always timely and helpful and her friend Vanessa who helped us with the check-in and departure was equally gracious.
The apartment was beautiful, really spacious and quiet, but in a really vibrant neighbourhood with a lot of nice bars and coffee shops nearby.
Although we originally booked for three people, we ended up expanding to six and the apartment was more than adequate to cope with the additional guests. I would definitely stay again the next time I am in Budapest and I wholeheartedly recommend that you stay here!
Johanna's apartment in Budapest was the nicest Airbnb apartment we have ever stayed in, and we have stayed in many. It was large, spacious, beautifully furnished, even luxurious, and with all the appliances we could ever need. Johanna was not in Budapest to meet us, but her friend Vanessa who represented her, made us feel so welcome, and answered all our questions. If we ever manage to get back to beautiful Budapest, this would be the only place we would consider staying in.
Everything about this rental turned out wonderfully.
From the start, Joanna’s communication was punctual and helpful. Her mate Vanessa, who checked us in and out, was equally helpful and cheerful even though we didn’t arrive at the flat until after 1am.
The apartment is beautiful with very high ceilings and nice décor. There was plenty of space for all 3 of us. The living room is huge was great for lounging around after a full day of exploring the city. The bedrooms are a good size and bathrooms modern and clean. Everything we needed throughout our stay could be found in the flat.
The only 2 small issues: the fridge never got “cold” but was cold enough and the shower head in the master bathroom needs cleaning/replacing.
The location was fantastic – we walked everywhere. Be sure to allocate some time to the local neighbourhood. Check out the market, local bars and restaurants (especially Kárpátia restaurant, the second hand shop and Central restaurant near the corner of Iranyi utca and Ferenciek tere, and the communist theme bar on Iranyi utca). I also recommend Gellert bath and restaurants which are a short walk away. There’s so much to see in Budapest that 6 days wasn’t nearly enough.
There’s supermarket right across from the flat and bank machines close by.
We definitely plan a return to Budapest and Joanna’s flat if it’s available.
I can only confirm previous positive reviews. Everything worked perfectly.
The place is VERY spacious!
