The Space

My live/work space is all about art, design and photography.
The space is open, light and very clean.

There is one bathroom, kitchen, dining room table, and comfortable double size bed.

For summer guests -- Philly is hot and humid! I do have an air conditioning window unit in the studio room.

Fishtown is the center of Philly's new, innovative arts scene. It is just an easy subway ride from all of Phiilly's attractions. I live just across the street (email hidden) garden and respectfully quiet neighborhood gastro-pub. A large urban farm is located two blocks down the street.

There is wireless internet, lots of free street parking, and a kitchen that is ready to use.

I will not be here, but I will ensure you have wonderful people close by to help you with any apt. questions!

* Please get in touch via AirBnb or email before booking to confirm that the space is free.

My home is just off I-95 and there is plenty of easy, free street parking. I am also near the Septa bus stops and in easy walking distance to the subway (Berks stop).

Check In
  • Julia was a super communicative and thorough host. Her space was just what we needed for our time in Philadelphia. We were exploring the city for a potential move and our experience was super encouraging, especially in the Fishtown area. Julia's neighborhood love and suggestions were key in helping to create such a positive exploration of Fishtown and the Philadelphia area. Her studio space was welcoming and clearly well cared for. Her photographs as a part of the architecture of her space added a lovely detail to our stay. Julia was a very thoughtful host and we would definitely recommend her apartment.

  • Julia's studio apartment is clean, spacious & beautifully decorated. Parking was super easy - we got a spot right out front. The neighborhood is very up-and-coming. Julia herself was super nice & responded quickly. She did a great job explaining everything & anticipating any questions we may have had.

  • Julia's apartment was an absolutely wonderful place to stay during my weekend trip to Philly! The apartment was very clean, and was beautifully decorated with all of Julia's amazing art work. The neighborhood (while a little bit on the outskirts) was great to walk around, and we absolutely loved the gastro pub across the street. Julia was very responsive and helpful which also made our experience seamless and easy. I would definitely stay at Julia's apartment again!

  • Julia's place was just perfect for a few days in Philadelphia! There is a bus right across the street and the subway is not far. The organisation was uncomplicated and worked out perfectly. And we got to look at Julia's work too! We recommend it vivedly!

  • Julia was so nice and extremely accommodating, she met us at the train station which we arrived into and personally delivered the keys and addressed any concerns or questions that we may have had.

The apartment itself was lovely and exactly what we were looking for. The space is quite spacious and everything was convenient and easy to use. The neighborhood was really nice as well. Julia was a wonderful host.

  • Julia was a great host. She made sure I had everything I needed. She went above and beyond by offering rides as I didn't have a car and wasn't familiar with the city.

  • My girlfriend and I stayed in Julia's apartment for one night. The place was amazing! We really enjoyed looking at Julia's photos on the walls and, and we both thought the place was very well decorated. I would definitely stay here again!

  • Julia's place was great! The building's a little funky, but her apartment is bright and clean with a comfortable bed and lots of her cool artwork on the walls. We also really liked Memphis Taproom pretty much across the street from her place. Julia was very communicative and checking in and out was super easy. I'd definitely stay again.
