  • John was amazing. He truly couldn't have been more accommodating and friendly and I want to recommend you stay here if you can. It's a good location and the place itself is lovely and homey inside.

  • This apartment was exactly what we expected, clean and true to pictures. John was a great host and even stocked the fridge prior to our arrival. The place was quiet and the street was decent. A quick walk away from restaurants and stores on Franklin Ave, though we mostly stayed away from Nostrand Ave.

  • We would not hesitate to recommend John and Ashas apartment to other people. John was such a great host and we were so satisfied with our stay in his apartment. John was always available on the phone if we needed help with something or had any questions. He even told us at our arrival that we could call him if we got in any trouble and he`d be there to pick us up. The apartment is close to the subway that take you in to manhattan and there is nice areas nearby were you can go out to eat or shop. The apartment look just like the pictures. The bathroom is clean and the kitchen has all you need to prepare meals. If you want a nice apartment in brooklyn for a good price this is a really good place for you!

  • Nice studio in Brooklyn neighbourhood. John is the ultimate host, providing a fridge full of food and drink. Neighbourhood is very interesting. A good bar opposite the church on Nostrand Ave and a well stocked supermarket if you turn left at the church and walk 2 blocks. Apt is spotless and John provides the softest towels and a good hair dryer. Definitely recommend peopłe to stay here.

  • Nous avons eu un très agréable séjour. Le hôte était très sympa et réactif, le studio - propre et fonctionnel, le quartier- très populaire et bien situé par rapport à l'aéroport (ligne A) et pour aller à Manhattan (ligne A et C).

  • We had a fantastic stay at John's & Asha's apartment! On the day we got in we were delayed by over an hour but John was still there to welcome us providing directions throughout the arrival process. The place itself was great! Super clean with a well stocked kitchen and not to forget the bagels, cream cheese, orange juice and drinks in the fridge! It's in the details! Bathroom was good too with plenty of fluffy towels and hot water to go around. Wifi was also very reliable and fast. Transportation wise we mostly used the A train (7 min walk) into town or the bus 65/44 (3 minute walk) to go to Park Slope/Williamsburg. The house is located in a quiet and safe residential street. Just to note that it is an old building with floors made out of wood which means you might hear the occasional creak from the floor above in the mornings. Not a problem though if you are a sound sleeper and it adds to the charme! Thanks a lot guys for a great stay!

  • Excellent place to stay! We were very impressed with not just the apartment itself but also with John as we found him to be very nice and helpful throughout our stay. He accommodated our late arrival (around 11 pm) and even had some cold beer ready for us to start our weekend! The fridge was also stocked with snacks such as water, yogurt, soda and bagels which definitely came in handy when we were rushing out each morning. The apartment looks exactly as it does in the pictures and was very, very clean. You can tell that the hosts put a lot of effort into making your stay comfortable by providing good quality linens, an iron and ironing board, extra travel size tolietries etc. John called us throughout the weekend to check on us and see if we needed anything which was also very nice. The apartment is a short walk to the subway line and it was easy to get a cab when we needed one. All in all I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable, clean place to stay while visiting NY!

  • Where to begin... John was absolutely the perfect host. He was warm and inviting, ensured our kitchen was well stocked and that we were looked after. I even felt that if I ran into some trouble in the surrounding area, that he would be the first to help if I called him.

The apartment is very sweet and a perfect space for a couple. The kitchen is well stocked and even the bathroom provides helpful men's & women's essentials that you might forget to pack! WiFi, TV channels, coffee machine and space to relax - it was like a home away from home.

The apartment was very clean and well looked after.

We could not be happier with this apartment, and it really helped towards making our holiday / vacation the trip of dreams.

  • A home away from home.

John and Asha both made our stay a true pleasure. The apartment was perfectly clean, the fridge filled with some food and they were always responsive to our emails even during our stay. The flat is about 20 minutes from Manhattan by metro which is only at 5 minutes from the apartment. Definitely a great place to stay, thanks again Asha and John.

    ----------
