This wonderfully charming 100 year old adobe with 2 bedrooms and 2 baths will give you all the flavor of Mesilla within biking distance to the plaza. Kids and dogs are very welcome, you can even bring your horse! 2 bedrooms on oposite sides of the house affords plenty of privacy. Full kitchen, washer and dryer, and fresh farm eggs for breakfast will make you feel right at home! Back patio is perfect for grilling and outdoor visiting. There is Offstreet parking that can be locked.

The space
The entire house is yours, the outside area around the house is partially yours to use, there is a separate area for the casita at the house so we ask that you not go into that fenced area as the other guests may have dogs. You are more than welcome to go visit the horses, just please stay on your side of the fence, one of our horses only has one eye so he cannot look out for little ones as he used to.

Guest access
This property is a farm which may or may not have horses during your stay. You will have access to a large outdoor space which is fenced for dogs. There is also a casita which is an airbnb as well so there may be other people on the property and those guests may also have dogs, but they will be in a separate yard. We ask that everyone is mindful of each other. Thank you!

Other things to note
Please be aware that this house is on a farm. This is wonderful while you are feeding the horses a carrot, but it also comes with a certain amount of bugs and dust. We use natural pest control outside, but it still gets a bit buggy in the summer. The house will be cleaned from top to bottom, but it is also a 100 year adobe and it grows dust. Also, please know that, while there is WiFi at the house it is spotty because it is satellite, the area does not have access to high speed. It is a wonderful place to unplug, but not the best place for binge streaming! We feel confident that you will be able to enjoy your stay regardless of the house's little quirks, and we hope that the fresh farm eggs for breakfast makes up for it all! Enjoy!

Padma Mott-Valdevit is a long-time resident of Las Cruces and loves the area. She came here in the mid-80's to take a year off between boarding school and college and found that she loved the area, the people, the desert and most of all the green chili! She now makes her home with her husband and daughter on their farm in the north valley and feels that she lives very close to heaven. She began selling real estate came in 2003 while trying to find a job that would pay for her hobby/job at the time, horse trainer and riding instructor, which she still does, time permitting. After a very short time selling real estate, she realized that she loved the process, putting the perfect home together with her clients. Padma specializes in the older areas of town, Mesilla, Alameda, and the downtown area, as well as horse properties.
