On Orchard Street very close to Subways in the heart of the Trendy lower East Side with good restaurants, bars, boutiques and art galleries.A stone throw away from China Town,Little Italy,Soho and Tribeca.
Flat screen TV with cable,WIFI,Firm Tempur Queen Size Bed,Designer bed sheets and towels and nice appliances.
The apartment is a second floor walk up.The white leather sofa pulls out into a bed.You will have clean sheets and towels.
What I like about this neighborhood its very cool and feels like the real New York,There are not many big chains stores in the area so you meet the people that have the small boutiques, galleries and restaurants get more of a connection with them. Its close to the Williamsburg Bridge you can walk across the Bridge and check out Brooklyn easily. There is also a good jogging trail along the East River so you can go for an early morning or evening run.And the shopping on Grand St in China Town for fresh vegatables, fruits and seafood is amazing and super affordable you will not beat those prices anywhere else in the city.
The apartment is good, great located !
We had a very good stay at Sean's place, which is very comfortable. Thanks Sean !
We had a fantastic time in New York City and Sean's place was perfect! We only stayed two nights which was no way near long enough to be able to do everything we wanted! The flat is unique and well equipped and was a perfect place to rest our heads. Sean was helpful and even allowed us to check out a bit later on Sunday as our flight wasn't until the evening.
The Lower East Side is a fantastic place to stay - very similar to East London, which is where we are from. We were able to explore the trendy bars and coffee shops as well as being a short walk from the Subway enabling us to visit the sights of NYC.
We would come back to Sean's place and NYC without hesitation!
Great apt, great location, go ahead and enjoy! Sean was a great host
Our stay in Sean's Zen apartment was the highlight if our trip. Such a great, comfortable place in the absolute best part of NYC.
Made us want to move to the lower east side from Australia!
We spent a few days in Sean's beautiful apartment in December 2013 and it was just perfect. Great location, perfectly appointed and squeaky clean. It was warm and cosy - so much so that we ended up spending a snowy night in, with Chinese take out and a movie. Of all the neighborhoods in Manhattan, LES is probably the one that has changed most radically over the last 15-20 years, but there is still a great mix of places and people there.
Sean was a gracious and accomodating host and the one small hiccup with the keys (no fault of Sean's!) was handled well by him.
We hope to be back in the spring!
We've stayed in Sean's studio while pre-Christmas season 2013.
He's been a great host, responded on any queries beforehand very quickly as well during our stay.
The studio is located in the East Village, an exciting district. Lot's of bars, restaurants and shops around. Any other NYC highlights were reachable via MTA subway in a few minutes. The station is close to the accommodation, so you can get there by feet in about 5 minutes.
The apartment has been clean and proper. Lot more space compared to e.g. regular hotel rooms.
Many thanks to Sean for his great support und warm hospitality.
Looking forward to our next visit.
I stayed in Sean's apartment with my boyfriend for 2 weeks - it was exactly what we needed! Looks exactly how it does in the photos. Lots of space for suitcases/shopping. Nice bathroom and mini kitchen. Great location - easy access to multiple subway lines and close by to lots of bars and restaurants. It was only a 10 min walk into the heart of Soho. The tv had all stations, including the NBA channel so it was nice to be able to sit down and chill out for a little while at the end of a busy day. Sean was an excellent host and very easy to contact. Would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it to others!
A really comfortable spacious flat in a fantastic part of town. Very convenient for local transport, walking to Soho or even up to the Village and with plenty going on on Orchard Street. Thanks for having us!
Sean's place was the perfect base for our 4-day trip. A fantastic location in the Lower East Side, with a great range of coffee places, bars and restaurants nearby. Sean met us on arrival and was on hand for any problems (there weren't any!) We'd definitely recommend Sean's place for a taste of authentic NYC!
