Thanks for checking out our treehouse! It’s 4 minutes from downtown Shepherdstown and 15 minutes from downtown Harpers Ferry. We are excited to share it with other fun-loving folks! The treehouse has heat and AC, a tiny kitchen with a mini fridge, stove top, toaster oven, gravity-fed sink and kitchenware. There’s a bathhouse built on the back of the host’s home with a conventional toilet and shower. There’s also an outhouse with a light and essentials. We provide wood for the fire pit also.

The space
The treehouse sits between oak and hickory trees 20 feet above a rock outcropping that overlooks our little holler. There is a 12x5 front porch with a good sunset view and lighting for nighttime enjoyment. Inside there is a nook with large windows to relax by, a mini kitchen with a gravity fed sink, mini fridge, electric cook top and toaster oven along with four stools. We provide kitchenware, pillows, bedding, and towels. The loft is more suited for kids but is fine for able-bodied adults as well. We do not provide bedding for the full mattress in the loft, only pillows. The bathhouse is on the back side of the host’s house and is about a 30 second walk from the treehouse. The outhouse is 50 feet from the treehouse and has a light and other essentials.

When you arrive, use the gravel driveway just beyond our home’s paved driveway that has two silver gates. Park at the top of the driveway but feel free to unload down by our big red workshop/barn closer to the treehouse. The path to the treehouse begins along the left side of the workshop.

I live on a country road and my neighbors are like family, so make yourselves at home and feel free to check out our property. We have one other Airbnb, “Cozy School Bus”, on the other side of our property.

Guest access
The bathhouse is on the back side of the host’s house and is about a 30 second walk from the treehouse. Feel free to roam our backyard for sticks for a campfire or to relax/play games.
