The Short and Lazy is a tranquil mountain-view retreat located in a quiet cul-de-sac in the historical town of Montagu with beautiful views of the Langeberg mountain

The house is 400 meters away from the entrance to the nature reserve and Cogmanskloof hiking trails for either a leisurely walk in nature or a more intense long distance hike. Within 2 kilometers of restaurants, shops and bars.

The space
The living room has a combustion fireplace for the cold Montagu winters. From the living room you move on to the dining area from where you walk through Happy (French) Doors onto a wooden deck with beautiful views of the Langeberg mountains. Enjoy your morning coffee or evening glass of wine on the lovely stoep or on the deck.

The unit has two bedrooms with a double bed in each. The kitchen is full equipped and has a gas stove top for when load shedding comes to visit. The bathroom has a bath and a shower.


Free Wifi and Netflix is provided. You will also be able to enjoy your own media playlists, connecting to the flat screen TV box. The inputs available are HDMI, as well as Micro USB, for laptop and cellular device connectivity, respectively.
