The Gypsy Rose is the Ultimate Romantic Tiny Space. Be transported back in time to the colour and excitement of life as a Gypsy Traveller.
While the wagon has been created with authenticity in mind, guests will enjoy modern amenities such as a kitchen, magic bathroom, luxurious Queen bed and a cosy fire to curl up in front of during the winter months. For those who need technology there is free WiFi and television. The Gypsy Rose is a short stroll to the beautiful village of Balingup and cafes.

The space
There is a private deck to sit and enjoy a glass of bubbly while watching the birdlife and through the secret garden you have access to a large pond and deck to relax on in summer.
The gardens are beautiful and guests often ask if can help with the roses or feed the chickens...be careful what you wish for!!

Where you’ll be

Balingup, Western Australia, Australia

The Gypsy Rose is a short stroll from Balingup Village with its cafes and eclectic mix of shops.
We are fortunate to have the Golden Valley Tree Park on our doorstep. It is a world famous arboretum that attracts visitors at all times of year but is particularly attractive during spring, winter and autumn...the autumn leaf display is truly spectacular.

I have lived in Balingup for the past fourteen years. It is a magical, supportive community that is known for its wonderful artists, musicians and of course gardens. My garden is my love and my passion, along with my dogs Molly, Moet and Toby. I also enjoy musical soirees at the beautiful Pear Tree Cottage and sometimes take my camera to the Golden Valley Tree park to capture the changing seasons. I love to relax playing my cello, or stretch friendships practicing the violin! Most of all I like to relax on the deck near the pond with a good book. The cooler months in Balingup are truly beautiful. Misty mornings, cozy evenings and long walks in the Golden Valley Tree Park. There are many exciting festivals to look forward to, Telling Tales (for the children) in July and the fantastic Medieval Carnivale for everyone, in August. Come and join the fun!! My favorite place to be other than Balingup, is France. I hope to spend part of each Australian winter there soaking up the culture, language and food.
