Perfect hospitality from the heart. Rossman made our first experience in Lake Cowichan the best. We look forward to staying with her soon again
Friends of ours where getting married and instead of staying in a hotel we thought we would find a bed and breakfast and it was the best idea, the rooms were wonderful and looked out onto a beautiful garden. We only stayed for one night but wished we could have stayed for longer. The hosts Roseanna and her husband were very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. We will be going back to stay with them again.
Our stay at Cowichan Lake was very short but very nice. We loved it. We were very well welcome and the room was awesome with its kingbed, its huge private bathroom and its garden. Very luxuous. The breakfast was delicious and our hosts delightful. They were happy to help with the hikes we should try and the roads we should take to see a bigger part of the island than we expected. Better than a hotel for the same price, the relationship as a plus!
we had such a wonderful time at Rosanna and Elvin's beautiful bed & breakfast. Close proximity to the lake and river, wonderful accommodations with great attention to details (water with lemon in a carafe on each nightstand) and an amazing breakfast. Best pillows in the world and all the amenities you would expect to find at a resort (robes, slippers, wonderful handmade soaps etc.) Rosanna and Elvin were gracious and wonderful to engage with. Highly recommend if you are in the area!
The attention to detail and thoughtfulness of the hosts was un paralleled. Rosanna and Alvin are the optimal hosts. The accommodations were spotlessly clean, lavish and private. We couldn't have felt more welcome and pampered. Beautiful setting, gorgeous spa bathroom. Every detail for a gracious, comfortable stay was offered to our delight.
We had a delightful stay at Cowichan Lake. Rosanna and Elvin were fabulous hosts, providing lots of advice and stimulating conversation. The attention to detail of the accomodation was outstanding - every possible whim had been considered and provided for, and the breakfast....well possibly the best I've ever eaten. They also gently and sensibly advised against our mad plan of attempting the logging roads towards Bamfield in our rented car, for which we are most grateful! In all this accomodation is to be thoroughly recommended, faultless in every way
We absolutely loved our stay in Rosanna's Lavender Room, although it was only for one night as we were passing through Lake Cowichan on our way to Victoria. In hindsight, we wish we'd booked for longer. The room leaves you wanting for nothing, and what a comfy bed! The gardens outside are beautiful and the separate lounge room was cozy. Rosanna provided us with the yummiest breakfast which filled us up until dinner. Our stay here was wonderful. We would highly recommend this BnB to anyone passing through the area.

Elvin, a retired School Administrator loves music and plays in the local Good TImes Band, sings in a choir and has participated in several musical theatre productions. We love comfort that is good value when we travel and try to provide that with our B & B. The tapestry of this amazing world never ceases to delight us and we enjoy sharing the beauty of where we live as much as we enjoy experiencing new & wonderful places the globe over.
Each day is "full of wonder" or "wonderful" and Carpe Diem sizes up my life's motto.
