Dom Otwarty offers specifically unique space and atmosphere, the climate of a real home in Kraków.
As the citizens of Kraków, we are able to show our city from a different perspective, which is unfairly avoided by most of the guides and travel agencies. Each of the people creating Dom Otwarty is different, each has their favorite, interesting routes and places in Krakow, each has a specific view of reality.
Dom Otwarty is both: large flat and small hostel, comfy, friendly and very well situated (five minute walk from the Railway Station, Main Market and all important Cracow points!)
We offer good company, many advices about where to go, what to do, how to get to know Cracow!
We offer a private room, excellent for a couple or a single person but big enough to become a triple room!!!
Parking: street or guarded parking three blocks from our place
Books for a rainy evening: Yes!
Hairdryers, washing machine, linens, towels, plates, mugs, tea, coffee, WiFi
Bathroom, kitchen, tv, WiFi, phone, laptop, washing machine, hair dryer...
We try to keep silence after 11 pm but the most importatnt thing is to keep the door to apartment closed!! :)
I stayed six weeks at Goga and Pazurs flat in Westerplatte. The welcome couldn´t have been better. These are genuine, lovely people that took care of me and made sure everything worked out with everything during my entire stay. They both also helped me out with stuff way beyond the responsibility of a host. My stay at Goga and Pazurs place, i think, could in no way have been better.
Situated only a two minute walk from the central station and 10 minutes from the main square of the old town makes this the perfect outpost for a weekend vacation just as well as a longer stay.
Highly recommend. It's near from everything: station, the town square etc.
And Goga is a great host, super friendly. The room was clean and nice.
I think that Goga's apartment is strategically located in the city of Krakow. It is very close to the old town, just across the street. There are two ways to get to the old town, either you cross the street infront of the apartment or you can use the underground passage. The old town is not so big, you can explore the whole part of the old town in two days, or even one day if you're really fit :D The apartment does not really look like in the photos, though. Goga told me the apartment is under reservation and the walls need to be touched up but the guys had not come yet. It was not as neat as in the photos but it was okay. It had some sort of wood smell but it was nothing unpleasant :D The train station which is integrated with the bus station is very close, it is just about 5-10 minutes walk from her apartment(depending on your walking pace). You have to go through a shopping mall (Galeria Krakowska) to get to the train station. The mall has everything you need, there is a huge supermarket one floor above the main entrance so you can buy some groceries :D She let me use the fridge. I think Goga was really kind and I enjoyed staying at her place. and the bathroom and toilet worked well. there was one thing that kind of disrupted my joy. Goga said there would be a band staying at her apartment on my last night and they were making a lot of noises I couldn't sleep so well and woke up feeling sleepy in the morning. But I slept well the night before. so the only problem came from the band staying at her apartment that night.
Excellent location, comfortable room in a funky old Krakow apartment. Goga was helpful from beginning to end. The entrance from the street is priceless.
Pięknie urządzone pokoje, super lokalizacja i mili gospodarze. Bardzo polecam!
It was a pleasure to spend my visit in this apartment. Goga and Pazur were very friendly and helpful with any questions I had. The room was exactly what I expected from the listing and it's a great central location for exploring the city.
It was one of the bests hostings that I had! Location best of, 5 min from train station and opposite the old town. Room was clean and cosy. The apartment had atmosphere of Poland for us. Not new, with culture in each object inside. I think, that we had the true view of Poland with the help of this apartment. From my side, very recommended.
