Holly and Amy's apartment was perfect. The location was prime, learning how to navigate the transit system was really easy and made you felt like you belonged there. The neighborhood is safe and everything is only a few blocks away! Holly was so warm and really gave my boyfriend and I great ideas of places to go to eat. I recommend this beautiful apartment to anyone. Thank you so much for having us. Hope anyone that books enjoys your stay!
The accommodation was great. Room was very comfortable. The bathroom is right by the bedroom, and always clean. My hosts weren't there when I arrived, but it was really easy to retrieve the keys from the lockbox downstairs. Hosts were very accommodating, and I would definitely recommend it.
This was our first Airbnb experience, and it was excellent! The room and facilities were exactly as described, the bed was comfortable, and the location was perfect for our agenda. The neighborhood was quiet and we found parking easily. We would return to Amy & Holly's place if we again find a need for a room in the Edgewater area.
When we arrived, Amy greeted us and helped us with our bags. She offered us a glass of water, gave us a little tour of the apartment, and provided us with the keys. We had some pleasant exchanges with both Amy and Holly but for the most part stayed to ourselves. Most of the information we needed like house rules and wifi info were provided on a sheet that was in the bedroom. We left for a concert almost as soon as we arrived and did not spend too much time in the room aside from sleeping. The room was very clean and just as pictured with an extra comforter. The bed was really comfortable! We took an uber to breakfast in the morning and decided to walk back--very cool neighborhood that felt safe. Overall, we were looking for a clean, comfy place to stay for one night that was relatively close to the concert venue, and it was perfect for us with a great price!
Amy and Holly were wonderful hosts! They were very accommodating despite our rushed schedule -- not to mention, their home is absolutely gorgeous! The location near Granville is also plenty convenient, close to many wonderful shows and shops. Thank you both for such an amazing stay!

My partner and I moved from St. Louis to Chicago 8 years ago. I work in the HR consulting field and help with an annual circus festival. Amy works in publishing. We love entertaining, cook often and spend lots of time in nearby Andersonville. We love the arts, great food and can definitely recommend a variety of great things to do in Chicago.
