Three comfortable nights' sleep--good bed. Shared bathroom with hosts which worked ok for us, but the hosts' bedroom is right across from guest bedroom, and the wood floor squeaks, so I was hoping I didn't disturb them since we came in around midnight two nights. Nice to have a terrace.
Accommodations were excelent, Amy and Holly were always helpful with us, the location is close to the subway, the neighborhood is very cool, has good restaurants, good markets, pharmacies nearby too. To be in Chicago the first time was a wonderful place to have stayed. I just have to thank the host for everything.
This was a great room in Amy & Holly's apartment. It was a shared bathroom, but we did not run in to any issues with using it when needed. The hosts were friendly and warm when we checked in, but then gave us our privacy throughout the weekend. The area is in a safe residential neighborhood with plentiful FREE (no permit needed) street parking. It's close to the Red Line and plenty of restaurants and bars. Highly recommend it and will definitely look at their place first for future visits to Chicago.
The neighbourhood was perfect for the train to downtown.
Amy & Hollys apartment was great! They were both super friendly and their space was huge. Very close to train station as well, walking distance to several restaurants. Extra clean and quiet!
