  • It was with a sad and heavy heart that we had to leave and say good bye to Bagni Vittoria and our hosts Luigi, Bette and Jack. As others have reviewed before us it is true, this really is the most memorable vacation we have ever had. Our family of 8 (3 generations between ages 14-84) stayed for 7 days in 2 of the 2 bedroom apartments and we all had such a relaxing, adventurous, and loving experience here. Our family travels the world regularly and we have yet to come across a place and people that were so vibrant, loving and spectacularly beautiful!!

Highlights included snorkeling and plunging in to the sea from the giant rocks in front of the hotel, laying in the sun in both the beautiful gardens and the sandy cove, sleeping like we've never slept before with sea breezes and the sounds of lapping waves, and being nourished by the incredible baked goods, coffee and tender care of the diligent hosts. There are so many things to discover about this area from biking, wineries, eating dinners on trabuccis, roaming the streets of historic towns and so much more. It is without hesitation that we can say we will return. Bagni Vittoria and the Vasto area should be on every travelers destination list. Luigi, Bette and Jack, you have filled our hearts and we have so much love for you- siamo amici! We are friends!

  • The Home is ideally located between Vasto and the Punte Aderci Park. I recommend this place for... doing nothing. Just read, swim, sunbathe, talk, maybe fish from the rocks just below the property. Rest. Think or not. Enjoy the silence (only the sound of the waves), the sun, the cool breeze, the comfort and the style of the place.
Breakfasts were taken in front of the Adriatic panorama, and Elizabeth cakes make it like at home. Or cabin like room was clean and convenient.
Luigi is very friendly and helpful, without being intrusive (what we appreciated because we were travelling just the 2 of us). He helped us find a good restaurant in Vasto and gave us directions to go to the places we wanted to see.
    We will happily come back!

  • I loved my stay here! I hope to go back with my entire family as soon as possible.
I found nearby central Vasto (the city) to be lovely and picturesque- easy to get around... The cabins are clean - small but fully functional -some with kitchenettes. The wall of our bedroom was a single sliding door opening out directly onto a view of the ocean. It was inspiring. beds were firm and comfortable futon type. The site is on a rocky portion of the coast ( beaches are 5 minutes down the road) it had a nice walkway leading to a secluded cove. The ocean was turquoise the sky was briliant blue and the gardens were very pleasant. We were here when the Liliacs were in bloom.. I was worried being near the ocean that it might smell ..oceany..(lol) it was not an issue - the water is clean and clear and the air is clarity itself. The Host Luigi was a very enthusiastic helpful man. His English while not 100% perfect was good enough to explain very detailed driving instructions ( without his help I would have been lost constantly) and he was a wealth of good suggestions on local restaurants - All of which were excellent. Breakfast is a simple affair as most are - Dinners were very good, and his wife is an excellent desert chef as well - Amazing cheesecakes... Yum!

  • THE perfect spot to relax by the sea! After trekking in the Abruzze mountains we find the ideal place to rest our legs and feeth. Luigi is the host formidable. He, the sea, the view, and his splendid bungalows made that we come back, that's for sure! Linda and Rudi from Belgium.

  • We spent two nights here enjoying being right next to the sea. Luigi was a great host – plenty of good advice about places to visit and good local restaurants. The chalet was very comfortable and the grounds and facilities are beautifully cared for. Sunbathing and swimming off the rocks there was fine but just along the coast are the wonderful sandy beaches and nature reserve of Punta Aderci.
It was so relaxing that we decided to stay again on our trip back.

  • I could write a book on this place !!!
Forget all the palaces, the five stars hotels, forget about the maldives !
I'm talking here about not only a amazing house and location, I'm talking about a strong human experience with some passionated people which are Elisabeta and Luigi !
They created something new for me ! I really think that Luigi made my holidays unforgettable ! He loves what he is doing, he was during one week the best concierge for me and my family, I'm sure they got exhausted by the end of the day, because they give so much energy for the hapiness of their clients .
Save some money and book a room there a week or two or just two days ! It worth it !
I really lived an incredible experience because you can get the services of a palace and at the same time , Luigi succeeded in creating a such relaxed and peacefull atmosphere !
I was really sad when I left this place because after only one week there, I was feeling like leaving my Italian friends or even family !
I already planed to go back there because it's unique ! You can feel some very different sensations over there from living like a rich man on a private island to sharing food and wine with your new friends in a camping , saying hello to some octopus fisherman passing by ... it's amaziiiing !
I think anyway that the more you stay in this place, the more you love it ...

  • A wonderful small resort, reminiscent of bungalows in remote Hawaii. Humid, fresh smelling, and right on the rocky coast and water. Beautiful sunrise, followed by a cordial continental breakfast served by the owner, Luigi. Recommended for a cost-effective, simple, romantic experience outside of Vasto, a tourist town where you can find a beautiful Caribbean-like beach. The rooms and bathrooms are small, but offset by immaculately clean cotton sheets, good service, and a relaxing atmosphere. The owner is quite attentive if you have any problems or requests.”

  • This B&B is located north of Vasto off the main coastal road. It is made up of a few buildings each with two separate rooms per building. It is perfectly located on top of a small cliff overlooking the beautiful water of the Adriatic Sea. There is no sand beach but there are multiple sets of stairs built into the cliff to allow you to get into the water safely and easily. The rooms are located only 30 feet from the edge of the cliff allowing you to hear the sound of the ocean while you sleep, the proximity to the water also means there is always a refreshing breeze coming off of the sea. Each room has two sets of dedicated lounge chairs, one by the water and one outside of your room. There are also two outdoor tables per room, one in the shade for eating meals by the water, and one next to each bungalow. The rooms are a little on the small side but you spend so little time in them it wasn't a factor at all. Everything is new and clean and works perfectly, the shower is especially nice and enjoyable. There is also beer, wine, and coffee there for sale at a very reasonable price.

As nice as the room and area is, the greatest advantage of this location has to be it's owner, Luigi. From the moment you arrive he is extremely welcoming and warm. To call him friendly is an understatement. It is completely obvious he loves this property and dedicates himself completely to the upkeep and luxury of it. He is attentive without being overbearing and truly makes you feel like you belong there. The breakfast is wonderful, different types of pastries everyday with yoghurt and your choice of tea or coffee. He also will arrange for lunch to be brought to you to eat next to the water that is delicious and cheaper than you would expect for the quality of food that it is. He will also make recommendations about local places to eat and make the reservation for you. He has managed to make you feel at the same time both included in a wonderful family atmosphere there, and also like you have your own secluded and private stretch on the water. It is very private which only enhances the relaxation you will experience here, and since he provides wonderful food and refreshment, you are never left wanting. I can't remember the last time I had such a calm and relaxed day as I had here. His family dog, Jack also improves upon the experience. However many days you might plan to stay here, add one more, it is such a perfect and relaxing environment you won't want to leave. The experience that you receive for the money that you pay is incredible, I have never been taken care of so well at any hotel and all my expectations for this place were met and then exceeded.

  • Luigi was a great host and the B&B setting was extraordinary! I wish I could have stayed two nights. I suggest sleeping with the only the screen door open so the sounds of the sea can lull you to sleep and rising early to take in the sunrise over the ocean. Luigi sent me down to Osteria del Mare for dinner (San Salvo Marina), a great dining experience with amazing seafood and really friendly chef. Checkout time is a bit early but overall I would HIGHLY recommend this place.
