Our small A-Frame is nestled in the mountains between beautiful Port Angeles and Sequim, Washington. Our location offers you a central stay to many of the Olympic National Park activities.

While the A-Frame is very near our home and has two neighboring houses slightly visible it resides in a private nook amongst the trees. We share a driveway, but you have a designated parking spot. Outside you can enjoy your private deck, hot tub, fire pit, hammock, chicken coop, or walk down the gravel road.

The space
This A-Frame is 216 square feet with kitchenette, which includes a small fridge/freezer, large sink, microwave and all your basic cooking and eating utensils. There is an electric fireplace that will provide a cozy and warm atmosphere and a small fan. There is also a projector and screen inside that you can connect to your streaming service or use our guest Netflix .

This listing is a MAX of 4 guests, sorry but NO exceptions. For sleeping you will have a Queen Bed, Futon, and a single bed in the loft (assessable by ladder - please no children under 6 in loft). If you prefer to eat or play games inside we have a small table with two bar stools and a futon with two pull out side tables.

Outside you can sit on the deck (which has a propane cooking stove), at the outdoor picnic table, around a fire pit, or in the hot tub.

There is a external private bathroom (NOT heated), shower (hot water on demand), toilet, sink and mirror next to the A-Frame for your private use. Please note there are no electrical outlets in bathroom.

We are pet friendly up to 2 pets, but ask for an additional $50 flat pet cleaning fee to be added to your reservation.

Guest access
You can walk or bike down a private dirt road. Children are welcome on our play set.

Other things to note
*Hot tub runs only 110v, so it takes about 1hr per degree to heat back up, so it’s very important you don’t turn temp down. I do keep at 103 degrees in winter as it can struggle to keep temp if open of an extended period of time.

**We have 2 sweet cats , Smokey and Stripey and 2 sweet King Charles Cavalier’s named Scout and Copper (puppy) that may pop in at some point during your stay. If they bother you, please don’t hesitate to reach out for us to come get them. We do prefer that not go inside the A-Frame.

***While this is very near our home we value your privacy. Additionally we do have another RV Airbnb on the property, but everyone is aware of each other’s private areas and has ample space.

****The water at times has a “sulfur” smell that comes from the well due to runoff from the mountains, but we do have a filter on the water and it is still safe to drink and use.

*****Bringing slip on shoes to use between cabin/hot tub and bathroom is always recommended. Also, cabin floor gets cold during the winter months so you will likley want to be wearing shoes, socks or slippers inside.

I am a 40 year resident of Port Angeles, WA and while I have traveled many of places in my life I feel there is nothing that beats the beauty of the Olympic Peninsula. From the mountains to the ocean in just 25 minutes offers a huge array of outdoor activities. My husband and I were high school sweethearts and rekindled nearly 10 years later all by a chance phone call. We have fallen in love with camping and first had had a dream to provide a campsite on our property with our RV that we could share in our passion. We had such a great response that the following year the husband built an A-Frame. Additionally my husband is a finish carpenter and loves to use creative ideas as you will see when you come to our Airbnb’s!
