The apartment is only 5 min of walk from Split center and everything is new and clean. There is a beautiful courtyard in front with parking space which is extremely important since the entire city has a parking space problem. Anja was very kind and helpful. My experience was beautiful, if l ever visit Split l will definately stay with Anja and her family and l would recommend it to anyone visiting Split .
This was the most disappointing of my trip.
The host lives in a very narrow Street and I had to park the car behind another car in the gated premises which meant no freedom to use the car. The apartment was advertised for 3+people but I had to request another bed as there was 2 of us and we expected at least 2 beds. However the sofa was dressed for sleeping in when I returned from old Town and it was very comfortable.
The apartment is not as big as in the photo and there was no one to there who could speak English to assist us with any queries. I found this ace quite disappointing and was glad to leave
I am really sorry that you had such a bad experience at my accommodation but that could have been all sorted out if you just contacted me during your stay.
Firstly you haven't arrived at the time we had agreed for the check in, also you haven't stated that you needed another bed, if you did the sofa would be dressed for you upon your arrival.
The apartment is exactly as on the pictures and you can clearly see that you have a bed and a sofa in the premise.
If you needed to move your car you could have just asked my aunt or send me a message that you need to leave and someone would move the car immediately for you.
I feel very disappointed that you chose this way to express your feelings about the apartment instead of contacting me for anything you needed. You are the only guest I had with such a bad experience and that is a clear consequence of the lack of communication from your side.
It was great time to stay at Anja's house. Close enough to walk any spot we should go and room was clean. Also, we could park our car at gated place for free! Even we couldn't see Anja, thanks for Anja and her cousin!
We enjoyed our stay in Anja's flat, on the ground floor of a family home in a nice, quiet suburb just outside of Split centre on the east side. The space was clean, modern and comfortable, with some quirky furnishings and a fun red colour scheme. With only a skylight and the window in the front door for natural light it could perhaps feel a bit gloomy if you stayed for an extended time, but as we were only there for one night, this wasn't a problem at all. There was a nice table and chairs outside in the grapevine-covered driveway, too. The location was pretty good - a little out of the way in terms of shops/cafes, but an easy 10-15 walk to Diocletian's Palace and the city centre. The beaches on the east side of town are also a 15 minute walk or so, and it's about equidistant (both 15 mins walk) from the main bus/ferry terminal and the suburban bus station to the north of the centre (useful if you take the #37 city bus to/from the airport).
The apartment was a very nice space, not far from the train/bus stations and ferry docks. We were very comfortable.
The apartment was beautiful and clean and Anja even left a bottle of wine and a cake for us on arrival :-).
Picked us up and dropped us off at the airport for our flights too!
Really friendly and helpful! Thanks so much.
Our host was very welcoming! We were very tired after a long journey and were very grateful as she had left some orange juice, fruit and wine for our stay. The apartment was clean and very modern. It was perfect for our stay. The apartment was a short walk to the town.

I study Agronomy at University and I also like to travel. I spend my free time to meet new places and to see new cultures. I think that everyone should find some free time to runaway somewhere to free themselves from everyday and fill batteries with new experience that lasts for ever.
