Blurb about self:
My wife and I are both teachers of children with special needs and have been working the special education field for over 12 years. We love what we do, but we also love to travel all over the world and spend time in our former residence/ now vacation home in Lake Arrowhead. We have three beautiful boys, all of whom are growing up so fast! They love spending time in the mountains, and we love spending time with them, as they bring all the joys of childhood back to life for us!
We chose Lake Arrowhead as the location of our home, as the area has always held a special place in our hearts. My wife's family owned a small cabin near Blue Jay for many years. Her father had always dreamt of retiring in the area, for the clean air and the slow-paced mountain lifestyle. Although his early passing didn't allow his dream to be fulfilled, we now are able to fulfill that dream for him, as our home provides a real mountain experience and memories for our children, family and friends.
Some of our family's favorite things to do while at our mountain home are relaxing on the deck and taking in the view, entertaining friends, playing games, having “movie nights" with homemade popcorn, walking to nearby Grass Valley Lake to picnic, play and feed the ducks, and going to Lake Arrowhead for the special events, like the summer concerts, 4th of July Fireworks show and the Oktoberfest concerts and events, Ja Wohl!
