This spacious suite, recently renovated with all new furniture sleeps 1-4 including the queen pull-out sofa. The kitchen is stocked with equipment for preparing a small quick breakfast or a fancier dinner. Enjoy the TV or surf the internet using a wireless connection.
The suite is a comfortable alternative to a hotel. Perfect for anyone looking for a “home away from home” feeling in a short term stay.

The vibrant, family-friendly neighbourhood with dozens of restaurants (vegetarian, Italian, Mexican, Indian, Lebanese, Caribbean, Vietnamese, Greek, Chinese, Ethiopian, Cuban, fusion, Thai), bakeries..., coffee shops, delis, live music, grocery stores, parks, unique boutiques, yoga studios, community centres with ice rink, pool, natural lake, library, local festivals and events…is within blocks of the suite. The Drive is a great place for anyone who wants to experience Vancouver culture.
East Vancouver/Trout Lake Farmers Market (Saturdays, May - October), designated bike routes, rapid transit (Skytrain) and commuter bus lines to downtown and UBC are all steps from the suite.

Interaction with Guests
We travel off and on. When we are in town we are available to assist guests with the touring of Vancouver. We also enjoy getting to know guests when the weather is good and we can all enjoy the backyard.
We are located less than a 10 minute walk to a major transit hub, to a weekly Saturday Farmers Market (May-October) - one of the best in the city! Our street and the ones near it have beautiful gardens, some of which have been featured in books about Vancouver. We also live 1 block from one of Vancouver's many bike/ pedestrian only "greenway". Very quiet neighbourhood within minutes of downtown on the sky train.
Major transit hub less than a 10 minute walk away. Bus connecting to that hub is 2 blocks away. No car is needed when visiting Vancouver, as it is very walkable and has excellent public transit. Even getting to Whistler or further afield can be done on transit.
Other Things to Note
We love having guests in our home. The suite is in a separate part of the house with a private entrance. We offer complete privacy and let the guests determine how much contact they want with us after checking in.
No smoking. Only registered guests may sleep overnight. No pets. Fees sited are for use of one bed only. Use of second bed is an extra charge per night. Please ask about it.
Devorah is a kind and accommodating host, and she is quick to communicate. We were able to book a reservation with her on short notice after our initial housing arrangements fell through at the last minute. The suite is clean and comfortable and there’s a spacious garden out back. It’s close to Commercial Drive, which has a lot of interesting restaurants and coffee shops, and you can also pick up the Sky Train from there. There’s a nice park just a short walk from the suite that has a farmer’s market on Saturdays. We really enjoyed staying there.
Our stay at Suite Dreams was perfect. It was exactly as described, with all we needed to make our stay in Vancouver unbelievable. Communication with Devorah prior our arrival was great. The suite was very clean with all the amenities we could imagine that made us feel like home. The decoration was very nice. The bathroom was completely new with an awesome colorful mosaic and a rain. The location was great. Quiet area just a few minutes walking to Commercial St, a great neighborhood with many bars and restaurants where Vancouver locals go. There is also a sky train that goes to Downtown Vancouver in just 10 min about 5 min walking from the suite. I would definitely recommend Suite Dreams for anyone visiting beautiful Vancouver.
It is a really nice suit. There is a beautiful lake with a kids playing place nearby. Ms. Devorah is very kind and nice.
Our stay at Devorah's place was great! A lovely appartment in a safe neighbourhood, free parking. Close to the city entre and easy to reach by public transport. It was easy to communicate with Devorah and she helped me out by answering all my questions about our first stay in Vancouver. The house offered everything you'd need as a traveller, for short or long stay. I can highly recommand this place for a 'no worry' stay in Vancouver!
Devorah's apartment is lovely - beautifully decorated and clean. The bed was comfortable as was the sofa couch. The apartment is well located and, with free parking and a nice back yard it was perfect for our stay.
About the Host, Devorah
I have lived in Vancouver since 1990 and enjoy sharing my city with others. The suite includes information about the region and our city. I greatly enjoy food and supporting our local agricultural areas and will guide folks to the best in the city. I travel a lot myself, and appreciate what travelers are looking for and am happy to assist with guests itinerary, if requested. I prefer staying in neighbourhoods in order to understand how local people live as opposed to the "tourist" attractions. I lived in the suite for 4 months, appreciate its comfort, and love sharing it with guests coming from afar.
lovely new (2010) community centre with skating rink and park with playgrounds, swimming beach, and Saturday Farmers Market (May-October). Perfect place for a quiet morning run or walk.
Quick access to downtown and train or bus station (<10 mins.).
Best smaller super market with fresh groceries.
