About this listing
You'll be staying in either mine or my roommate Meghan's bedroom. My room has a private bathroom connected to it, whereas Meghan's bathroom is in the hallway. We alternate rooms with each reservation we book. Whose ever room you'll be in, one of us will most likely be crashing out on the couch in the living room, so it's a pretty casual Airbnb situation. Just a heads up so you're not weirded out by one of us sleeping on the couch, ha.
Please not that while we will obviously sweep and clean before you arrive, we do not hire someone to professionally clean and we're living in the space.
You'll have full access to our kitchen where you're welcome to use our fridge, stove, cooking utensils, etc, living room (badass Ikea couch and TV w/Apple TV which we have accounts for HBO, Hulu and Netflix to), washer and dryer in unit right by the kitchen. Gated community with free visitor parking and a lovely pool.
Interaction with Guests
Meghan and I are usually in and out at home when we're not at work so we will be home, but never in your way! Since we are also usually staying there when you're there, it'll be pretty casual living situation, kind of as if you have roommates while staying with us. Happy to answer any questions or concerns you might have. We can be reached in all forms: phone, email, text, Instagram, (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN), carrier pigeon...
Our lovely apartment is located just at the tail end of South Congress, super close to downtown. 10-15 minute walking distance to tons of great bars, restaurants and shops, like Uncommon Objects, Amy's Ice Cream, Homeslice Pizza, Continental Club, and South Congress Cafe. Feel free to ask for recs, esp in the eating and drinking dept because it's kiiind of what we do best.
We live right across from a cool convenience store called River City Mart, next to the CVS, and right by the grocery store HEB.
Cabs/Uber/Lyft are pretty cheap to downtown (we're a 5 minute drive) and the bus stop outside our complex runs along South Congress couple bus stops near us (that's about the extent of knowledge of buses we have).
Please help yourself to anything in our apartment. We want you to feel at home!
Our neighbors, for the most part, are older, so please be mindful when coming back late at night. And please no smoking!
