Before you book your reservation please note the distance to the beach and downtown area. Some guests may prefer closer proximity to these areas and should consult the map before booking.
Get comfortable and unwind in this spacious queen bedroom. Sit on the front porch and enjoy the peaceful street and beautiful sunset. Or for a little more privacy hang out on the back patio. Had enough sunshine? Relax in the living room. Feel like cooking? You have full use of the kitchen, dining room, and bbq grill.

Interaction with Guests
I do live here full time and enjoy spending time with my guests when appropriate. Otherwise when home I tend to stay in my own space upstairs - if I am not enjoying the front porch!
We are not your typical shore town: the boardwalk and Cookman Ave offer unique shops, a variety of bars with a style and ambiance for everyone, amazing restaurants, live music at many venues (e.g. Stone Pony) and first Saturdays (all restaurants, shops and galleries stay open late) continue to impress visitors!
There are several bicycles for guest use. Taxi service. And abundant parking on a quiet, neighbor friendly street if you have a car.
Convenient to Garden State Parkway (exit 102 South bound/ exit 100 North bound, NJ Turnpike (exit 11 South bound to GSP/ exit 7A North bound to I-195)
NJ Transit train. Pick up/drop off possible at Asbury Park Station - just ask!
Other Things to Note
Just 30 minutes to Six Flags Great Adventure.
Nearby shopping includes a big Marshall's/Home Goods, Target, premium outlets, Monmouth Mall, and grocery - e.g. Wegmans.
- No smoking indoors.
- Please leave shoes at the door.
- Rinse sand off before showering or coming indoors.
- While you are welcome to enjoy the outdoor areas at any time day or night, I only ask that you are respectful of my neighbors and keep the noise level to a minimum after 11pm.
This was my first Airbnb experience and needless to say I was a bit nervous... but, Donna made it a very enjoyable one! The room is even lovelier than pictured. The entire house is very quiet, clean, charming and comfortable. Our housemates for the weekend (Dom and Brian) were in town for the same music festival, they were both incredibly nice and we plan on staying in touch. If I find myself coming to Asbury Park again I will certainly be booking with Donna! What a great weekend getaway!
Thank you Donna!

About the Host, Donna
I have lived here on Dunlewy street since 2009 and have grown to love the neighborhood, town, and most of all of summertime here at the Jersey Shore. I tend to move around a bit (SF, NY, PHL) but the beach has kept me here for longer than I expected. I work at the Asbury Park Press in market research and love how involved we get in the community. (I need to do more...)
Traveling is a passion of mine but unfortunately I have not been able to get away as much as I would like. With Airbnb, however, I have the pleasure of meeting fellow travelers and hearing about their adventures and places they call home!
Friends have always referred to my home as "Donna's B&B." So when I discovered Airbnb it seemed only natural to open my home to others and meet new friends.
I hope you enjoy your visit as much as my friends do!
