Welcome to the Kamalani Lodge! Our recently renovated 3/2 house has floor-to-ceiling louvered windows to maximize tropical breezes throughout the house, a fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances, and resort-quality king beds. Outside you will find a 6-person hot tub, outdoor dining set, Weber propane grill, and large yard. We also provide tons of recreational gear and toys so you can enjoy all Kauai has to offer! The space
The first floor of this approx. 2000 sq ft home contains a spacious kitchen and living area, full bathroom with tub/shower combo, and two bedrooms--one with a king-sized bed and the other bedroom with two twin-sized beds. Both bedrooms have walk-in closets with storage for clothing and luggage. The first-floor bathroom has separate closed spaces for the toilet/bathtub and the sink/vanity areas.
The upstairs area consists of a second living space with a large desk for remote work, a queen-sized sofa bed, a wet bar, and an outdoor balcony. The third bedroom and attached master bathroom are also on the second floor with a second private balcony. The large master bathroom has a walk-in tiled shower and sink/vanity area with additional storage.
Both king beds in the house have resort-quality Fairmont Sealy Stearns & Foster® Luxury Euro Plush Pillowtop mattresses. The two twin beds have Serta Perfect Sleeper mattresses. All beds have down pillows and down-alternative duvets with cotton percale duvet covers and sheets. Both bathrooms have rainfall shower heads and include shampoo, conditioner, body soap, and hand soap for your stay.
The garage contains a full-sized washer and two full-sized dryers (along with 3-4 loads' worth of detergent), a second full-sized refrigerator for Costco hauls, and plenty of recreational equipment and toys! We have Callaway golf clubs, boogie boards, surfboards, beach toys, snorkel gear, beach chairs, beach towels, cooler, umbrella, pickle ball set, and Razor scooters for your use. We also have a highchair, booster seat, bed rails, and toddler stroller for the smaller kids in the group.
The backyard consists of a wooden deck with outdoor dining set and solar-light umbrella for evening dining, as well as a large 6-person hot tub. The yard is large with plenty of space for games and running around and is filled with several types of fruit trees! Feel free to eat what is ripe and enjoy.
Guest access
The entire property is accessible to guests, except the locked housekeeping cabinets and other storage cabinets in the garage. Please do not use tools, ladders, and other maintenance equipment.
Other things to note
The home is equipped with super-fast Spectrum wifi (up to 1000 mbps), perfect for streaming shows on multiple devices, downloading/uploading large files, and reliable remote workspace access for a flex-cation.
The Kamalani Lodge is convenient to many North Shore attractions, so you'll never be without something to see or do. The closest beach is Wyllie's Beach, which is about 0.8 miles to the trailhead and an additional 0.4 miles down the trail to the beach. Queen's Bath is just 1.8 miles away through our quiet neighborhood. You can take yourself to Hanalei Town by car in just 10 minutes and to Anini Beach in just 15 minutes. The world-renowned Na Pali Coast is only a short drive up the coast--in just 30 minutes you can be embarking on a great adventure at the Kalalau Trailhead. The Princeville Center is within walking distance at only 0.7 miles from the house, providing convenient access to our Foodland grocery store, multiple restaurants, a tiki bar, coffee shop, 2 yoga studios, dessert parlors, and a business ship/print center.
Please note the following regarding the cleaning fees:
100% of the cleaning fee goes to the cleaners. In fact, we pay our cleaners more than we charge to our guests!
A starter set of basic household products (roll of paper towel, extra toilet paper in each bathroom, dish soap, 3-4 loads' worth of laundry detergent, dishwasher detergent) is also included as part of the primary cleaning fee but is not restocked during your stay. Most guests find that this supply lasts about a week, but if you think you may need more, we recommend stocking up on essentials at the larger grocery stores in Lihue prior to driving up to the North Shore at the start of your trip.
Additional mid-stay cleans ($200 each) will be required for stays lasting longer than 14 days. Stays lasting 14 days or less will not require a mid-stay clean; stays lasting 15-21 days will require 1 mid-stay clean; and stays lasting 21-28 days stay will require 2 mid-stay cleans. The mid-stay cleans include bathrooms, kitchen, floors, and linens, but do not include a restocking of paper products unless you have coordinated with us beforehand to include them for an additional fee. By requiring these mid-stay cleans, we can ensure that your stay is as comfortable as possible and minimize any disruption of turnover between guests. Thank you for understanding!
