Neighborhood highlights

The neighborhood is country style Hawai'i. Preserved Hawai'i, that is unincorporated. Neighbors are friendly though they appreciate their privacy and not to be disturbed by tourism. Lay low and enjoy the Hawai'i lifestyle here.
Around 7:00 am you might hear the chickens from surrounding neighbors. I don't own any chickens so it is quite peaceful. My place is hugged by 2600 acres of Hawai'i state land. We are on our own little corner of the island. The Hawaiians valued the sense of seclusion and an abundance in space. The homes here are built with that tradition of "not being able to see another person's house in your view. This is why in this area things are so "far away" than what you may be use to living on a mainland country. A new perspective to absorb!
