Located just 1.5 miles from the entrance to Palo Duro Canyon State Park, come stay in our newest rental, the Mesquite Cabin. Our vacation rental is on the doorstep of the second largest canyon in the U.S., an ideal location for those wishing to explore the state park.

Our cabin offers a unique getaway, surrounded by the West Texas landscape and its amazing wildlife and views. Enjoy the beauty of country living, with the convenience of the town of Canyon just 11 miles away.

The space
The Mesquite Cabin is a newly constructed, one-bedroom, one-bath cabin rental, with loft.

Enjoy expansive views sitting at the countertop bar or on the porch, or relax on the couch inside with our pinewood interior, vaulted ceilings, and bright atmosphere.

The cabin is family-friendly and can sleep up to six people. There is a king bed in the main bedroom and two full-size beds in the sleeping loft.

With sleeping lofts and an elevated walkway with guardrails, it is also a great space for kids.

Includes kitchenette with microwave, countertop stove, mini-fridge, and sink; private porch with grill; and Roku TV with Hulu.

Linens, towels, dishes, and some cookware are provided.

Complimentary coffee and light snacks are provided.

Note: This cabin may not be suitable for young children. The stairs to the sleeping loft are steep, like a ladder, so young children must be monitored closely. The space downstairs is suitable for most ages and abilities.

Note: This cabin is one of two apartments in the same house, with its own separate entrance, patio, and accommodations. There are some shared walls, so there is potential for noise from other guests. We ask all guests to respect quiet hours from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.

This cabin can be booked separately or in combination with the adjoining rental, the Juniper Cabin.

Note: There are multiple rentals on this property. Each cabin has a sign with the name of the cabin by the door to help our guests in finding the right cabin. The Mesquite Cabin is located behind the main house.
