Interaction with Guests
We will welcome the guest and hand over the keys. After that the guests have the place to themselves. There is a guidebook/manual we made to explain everything and with tips for restaurants etc in the area. We are available for questions by phone or email.
Condesa is considered one of the trendiest neighborhoods in Mexico City with lots of restaurants, cafes, shops etc. There are also some nice parks and it is centrally located.
The apartment is very close to the metro Chapultepec. There is also a bus terminal there for small buses (pesero's) that basically can take you anywhere in the city.
No shoes in the house
I spent a wonderful 5 days at Jeppe's place in Condesa. First time visiting Mexico City. Location near metro and so many restaurants/cafes was perfect. Easy walk to Roma Norte and Polanco. Apartment was clean and decor was minimalist/open with nice views. Overall, apartment is great value and highly recommended.
Jeppe was very responsive after I booked and his friend met us punctually at the apartment when we arrived despite our inability to communicate upon landing without cell coverage. The apartment itself was in an incredibly convenient location just next to Chapultepec metro in the wonderful neighborhood of Condesa. The apartment was massive, light-filled, and comfortable. If I went back to Mexico City, I'd stay here again.
Jeppe's place is exactly as described - spacious, lots of light, and well-located in Condesa. Jeppe was extremely responsive to e-mails and questions, and the entire process was very smooth. He also prepared instructions and guides to the neighborhood, which he left for us in the apartment. The neighborhood felt safe, and the apartment was very close to restaurants, trendy stores, Chapultepec park, and the metro.
Only downside: the second bedroom has two small beds, but the mattresses are not particularly comfortable unless stacked.
Overall, I highly recommend this apartment. The host even left us a bottle of wine when we arrived!
Jeppe was always available online to answer questions. Although he was not in Mexico City his friend Claudio met us and was extremely kind and helpful. A bottle of wine was welcoming us and the kitchen was stocked with food left by others which we could use and replace with other. There were four sheets with information including taxi numbers and restaurant recommendations.
The apartment is large, bright and clean, the kitchen well equipped and we liked the location close to the metro station, various museums, many nice restaurants and Tuesday's street market.
We very much enjoyed the privacy of two bedrooms. There are only two things we could see improved: the mattresses in the second bedroom were a bit hard (I just had a hip replacement) and the living room furniture a bit uncomfortable.
Overall we would recommend this apartment. It was our first experience with Airbnb and we were very happy with its easy booking process.
Great apartment, very well located, super views, trendy and minimalist furnished. Very good WiFi and bed comfortable.
Good washer, but we were advised by another resident to get a lock for the drying cages on the roof. We bought one, plus clothes pegs and rope from the large supermarket about 5 blocs sway. We left them so other guests can make use of them.
The apartment was a little cold when we were there, but an email to Claudio was acted on instantly and he gave us a heater. Might be worth bringing a pair of thick socks as all the floors are wooden and there is a shoes off policy.
Overall a great base for our stay in D.F.
The appartment fully deserves it's name. Spacious, lighted and comfortable. The arrangements worked smooth, check in and out. Jeppe's wife, Ula, was welcoming and available as needed. Certainly an option for our next visit to Mexico City.
The apartment was generally great and matched the photos and description, and you have views in all directions toward downtown, Reforma and Chapultepec castle. The furnishings were adequate, nothing fancy and the sofas and chairs are kind of creaky but not an issue if your plan is to get out and see the city. The location is great for exploring: my friends visited with kids and especially appreciated the proximity to Chapultepec, Parque España, and lots of easy eating options.
