This spacious home is just steps from the shore of Anabessacook Lake. Here you will enjoy the comfort and luxury of a well-equipped house, surrounded by the best of what Maine has to offer. The Red Top House features an incredible stone fireplace, large screened porch, and stone patio with outdoor fire pit. Bedrooms are comfortable with water views. The kitchen is very well equipped for the whole family. Rental includes use of non-motorized boats and firewood.
Ice fishing is steps away!

The space
House is located at the end of a country road, but is about 15 minutes from Supermarket, Pharmacy and retail shops in Winthrop, ME. About 25 minutes from Augusta and 75 minutes from Portland, ME.
The Red Top House is private, but we have two additional properties on the same cul-de-sac. Our caretakers are husband and wife who live in an apartment above a garage on the property. They will be available to assist with check in, firewood, and maintenance as needed. We also have a cabin on the property which will is a separate rental.
Anabessacook Lake offers beautiful fall foliage, followed by great ice fishing in winter months. There are numerous snowmobile trails nearby.
We are about 90 minutes from Sugarloaf and Saddleback Mountains.

Other things to note
Non motorized boats include a canoe, kayak, and paddleboard. These are shared between the 2 rental houses on this property. They are first-come, first-serve. Paddles and lifejackets are provided.
