The space
Holiday estate Champ Fort consists of a beautifully restored farm (2 gites) with swimming pool in the Charente, where you are most welcome.
If you are looking for a comfortable and spacious family accommodation, this is the perfect location, in a quiet area but not far from most amenities. Both gites are located in the beautiful French landscape on over 4000 m of land, with a large swimming pool. In the wide view, you will regularly see deer, buzzards and other wild fauna pass by.
The private terraces and gardens around the house allow you to enjoy the sun all day, but also have the necessary shade when it is hot. You are of course welcome to enjoy the products of the land, including cherries, peaches, plums, grapes, figs and walnuts, depending on the season.
Outside is the 12 x 6 meter swimming pool, with terraces around it and a large parasol and sun beds.
In the gardens, there are areas with grass, fruit trees, shrubs and flower beds.
Terraces can be found in the sun or shade. There is good garden furniture and a barbecue.

Gite 1: Hibiscus
The gite has been beautifully restored in the authentic French style. The stone walls have been perfectly renovated, and the original beams are still visible.
This vacation home has 2 bedrooms and a mezzanine where a total of 6 people can stay comfortably. For a baby, a crib can be added.
On the ground floor:
The kitchen is fully equipped with a stove, dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave, kettle, toaster, coffee maker and all dishes and cutlery. From the kitchen, a door leads to the terrace.
In the dining area you will find a large dining table and chairs.
The living room has a spacious sitting area with a corner sofa. There is TV, DVD/CD player. French doors lead to an outdoor area with barbecue and garden furniture.
Bedroom 1: King size bed and spacious storage space for clothes.
Bedroom 2: Two single beds and storage space for clothes.
Bathroom: Bath with shower above, toilet, and sink.
Mezzanine: Double bed and wardrobe.
Bathroom with shower: this is located under the mezzanine and has an enclosed shower, toilet and sink.
Gite 2: Lavande
The gite is beautifully restored in the authentic French style. The stone walls have been perfectly renovated, and the original beams are still visible.
You have 4 bedrooms with 8 sleeping places, and a bed with a pull-out bed in the library/hall, so that 10 people can sleep in the house. The house is full of comforts, and guests are always very enthusiastic about the beds. A crib and high chair are also available.
On the ground floor, you will find the living room: a spacious room with the original fireplace, chestnut wood floor and a comfortable sitting area. There is TV and a DVD/CD player.
The dining room has a pine table and chairs, a sofa and French doors to the terraces and gardens.
The kitchen is fully equipped with an oven, extractor, dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave, kettle, toaster, coffee maker and plenty of cutlery, glass and crockery. Also there is a door to a shaded terrace.
In a deep cabinet, you will find the washing machine, ironing supplies, and cleaning supplies.
In the bathroom, you will find a shower, toilet, and sink.
The bedroom contains a double bed and ample storage space for clothes.
In the hall, you will find the stairs to the first floor. Here is a library with a bookcase.
The second floor contains the master bedroom, with a king size bed and private luxury bathroom with toilet, shower and sink.
There are also two bedrooms with two single beds and storage space for clothes.
