What can I say about Josh other than what an awesome guy, very personable and really helpful. I enjoyed our chats. The location is great if you want to be close to JFK and really easy to commute into Manhattan. I highly recommend staying with Josh.
Josh was very friendly and willing to help us whenever we have any questions. He also provides lots of amenities such as wifi, microwave, small fridge, games, and movies in tv.
The pictures listed were not true. The building was quite old. I could sense the smell of his pets in the house. I'm so sorry to tell that me and my family did not like the smell. We sprayed some fragrance in the room to make it smell nicer.
Had a great stay with Josh, such a lovely host and really excited to help you out with exploring the area. The room and bathroom are great and the bed is really comfortable. The neighbourhood is great, excellent food and we felt really safe. The two Labrador puppies and the cat are really friendly and we love visiting hosts with pets as we miss our own! Thank you Josh!
Fantastic adventure in New York
Staying with josh was brilliant very welcoming and homely also he is very happy to help out in anyway and share his vast knowledge of the area highly recommended will stay again
I really enjoyed my stay, Josh was a great host, he was very friendly, attentive, and made me feel at ease. The room was as described in the ad, and I loved the location!
A friend and I spent 5 nights at Josh's appartment in Queens. We asked him about late check-in and he was fine with it - in fact, he even encouraged us not to re-book our train which arrived late at night. Since he and his wife were not at home, his sister opened the door to us; she was very friendly.
Our bedroom was clean and nice with a huge, comfortable bed. The only thing we did not like when we arrived was that Josh's cat had been alone in the living room for a certain time and the living room was not clean. However, the next morning the husband of Josh's sister came, cleaned up and fed the cat - so we felt comfortable afterwards.
In general, we enjoyed staying at Josh's appartment and we also liked the neighborhood in Queens which is well connected with public transport. Unfortunately we did not meet Josh at all - but we could ask him anything via textmessage.
Josh was a great host for my short stay in New York, giving me a welcome into his home, great ideas and directions for my visit there. I can highly recommend staying with him as, with his kind nature, he really does attend to his guests as people. I felt that as a visitor to New York I really did have someone to look out for me and that is priceless.
My friend and I stayed with Josh for a couple of nights and it was great! Josh is super nice and very helpful in providing information. He was very understanding when we had a very late check in. We had our own private room and bathroom and the apartment was close to amenities that we needed. I'd definitely stay here again!!!
