This apartment is in the best location for getting to anywhere in Rome by foot or by public transportation. It is less than a 2 minute walk from the Trevi fountain. Yet, it is on a quiet side street where most tourists do not go. Although we did see/hear several tour groups come down the street each day. We stayed here for 13 nights in July. The apartment has 2 bedrooms. In the center of the apartment is a living/kitchen/dining space with a large table and chairs, a couch, and flat screen tv. In the kitchen area, there is a large refrigerator, and a microwave/convection oven. Also in the middle of the apartment is a large beautiful terrace with plenty of seating. The main bedroom is on one end of the apartment off the kitchen. It is a large bedroom with a fireplace, large windows that open to the street and a large bathroom with a jacuzzi tub, shower, and hand-held shower. On the the other end of the apartment is the second bedroom. It has an entrance from the terrace only. The apartment is a long rectangle shape with the two bedrooms on either end and the living space and terrace in the middle. The second bedroom has its own 3/4 bath. That means it has a toilet, shower, and sink. Both bathrooms also have bidets. This second bedroom is only for two single people, or a couple who doesn't mind sleeping in bunk beds or for children. It is very small and has a bunk bed ( two twin beds ) attached to the wall. Francesca and Marco were both gracious, accommodating, and helpful hosts. They were available for contact the whole time if we needed anything, but we didn't need anything the whole time. Everything we needed was there. We cooked many of our own meals in the apartment and Marco gave us directions to the nearest grocery store. They also provided free maps and gave advice about tourist info and safety in the city. There are three A/C units in the apartment, but only one could be run at a time because the circuit can not handle more current than that. If you are looking for American style A/C, if you are expecting it to be evenly ice cold every minute of the day or night, you will be disappointed. If you expect to use A/C "as the Romans do" then you will be fine. We only ran the A/C in the smaller bedroom when we were in the apartment. The rest of the apartment we opened all the windows and enjoyed the evening, night, and early morning breezes. Because it's on the 4th floor, (5th floor by American standards) it is expected to be warm, but the large terrace allows for a lot of breeze through the apartment. It was in the 90's and sunny every day we were there. The apartment was clean, safe, and well equipped. The beds were firm and comfortable. The...
This apartment was AMAZING! Perfect location, comfortable for four people and very private since there is a covered patio separating the two bedrooms. Kitchen is well-equipped and with supermarkets close, we cooked lots of fresh pasta while there. Wifi was good. This was the best apartment we had during our four city tour of Italy. Highly recommended.
Ubicación perfecta en la ciudad, las camas un poco duras para mi gusto. Marco, amigo de Francesca que nos atendió, muy amable y simpático.
Wonderful vacation. Great apartment, very clean and comfortable, would go again in a heartbeat. Friendly host to top it off.
Amazing savings compared to hotels combined with an excellent location and an out of this world terrace. Francesca was very kind and understanding of our travel delays. Can't wait for next time.
The Attic is very cozy and perfectly located few steps from Fontana di Trevi. Francesca was an exquisite guest. Very punctual at check in and very friendly. Francesca also organized for us the ride from the airport. We loved our stay in the apartment and enjoyed the view from the wonderful terrace. We will be back and for sure we will contact Francesca.
