  • My boyfriend and I loved everything about this apartment! It's the perfect airbnb trifecta, fantastic location for a good price with a great host!! CLEANEST and prettiest bathroom with plenty of towels! A fridge stocked with water wine juice and milk! Snacks and pastries on the counter! Atrani was wonderful we couldn't have been more pleased with our decision to rent this apartment. Luciano and his wife really are the best hosts! We didn't want to leave!
    Grazie Luciano!

Ringrazio Brenna per le poche parole che valgono tanto in pubblicità!

  • Luciano's place is fantastic! Much better than it looks in the photos. Everything works well and he makes a special effort to make you comfortable. Amalfi is just around the corner and the square below is full of interesting local families with the occasional tourist. Beware that there is a bit of traffic noise as the main road is right there, but with the air conditioning on and doors closed it is not too bad.

  • Luciano and wife Lorraina were the ultimate hosts. We were welcomed with a lovely fruit basket, more tha enough food for breakfast, a bottle if wine, and lively homemade pastries!!! WOW! The apartment was absolutely beautiful and it suited our needs perfectly. Location was exceptional! We will definitely return here when visiting Amalfi again.

Saremo felicissimi di ospitarvi ancora! Grazie per le belle parole.

  • We had an amazing time in Atrani in Luciano's beautiful studio apartment. The apartment has everything you need for a relaxing holiday with towels included and enough kitchen equipment to create simple meals using the amazing local produce. We stayed for 7 nights and found the sofa bed perfectly comfortable for this length of time. Luciano provided a bottle of wine, water and juice along with fruit, croissants and local cakes for our arrival and was on hand throughout our stay in case we needed anything. He doesn't speak English but we managed to make ourselves understood through a combination of sign language and (website hidden) translate!

The apartment looks straight out to the sea with an amazing view, although there is a road directly in front of this so expect some traffic noise. You also have to walk along the road to get to Amalfi (takes 5 minutes) or up and down some steep stairs and narrow back streets so bear this in mind if you have any mobility difficulties. Neither of these things caused us any issues though and we could easily explore the coast by boat and bus (bus stop is right outside the apartment). There are lots of lovely restaurants in Atrani and Amalfi with lots doing take away pizza for a cheaper option.

We had a fabulous holiday and I would highly recommend this apartment as a base to explore the coast.

Un grande "grazie!" a Clare e Gareth per la positiva recensione. Sono contento di aver raggiunto l'obiettivo di contribuire a far trascorrere agli ospiti una vacanza tranquilla e serena.

  • Our stay at Luciano's seaview studio was amazing. We did not look for hotels and based our accomodations solely on Airbnb spaces available. We decided to stay in Atrani because it's walking distance to Amalfi and because the price was right at this place. We stayed 5 nights and by the end of our trip we wished we could've stayed there all of our 9 days!
Luciano doesn't speak any English but actually is a great communicator! It helped that we were able to use (website hidden) translate (20 euro for 1 gb of data for 30 days on TIM network) to ask him questions. We were amazed when we walked into the studio. It's right on the main road and it's (large) window opens up to a view of the ocean and the sun shining in. Luciano had stocked the studio with refreshments (including amazing local cookies that we never found again in our travels along the amalfi coast). They've done a beautiful job with the decor of the studio. Everything you might need is there from toiletries to guidebooks, umbrella, etc.
There are two restaurants in Atrani that we loved - Le Palme and I can't remember the other one. You must try the gorgonzola gnocchi at Le Palme - absolutely amazing. This restaurant is directly under the studio - you have to climb about 2-3 levels downstairs from the main road. It's always packed but you can order takeaway (cheaper and faster), which we did a couple times. The other restaurant is right next to Le Palme on the left side as you walk into the piazza - the food was awesome.
We wanted to buy some ceramic gifts so Luciano sent us to his friend's shop in Amalfi. The shop owner was great and we had a good time talking to him and his friends and left with some great gifts for friends and family.
Overall we can't say enough good things about our stay here. We hope to one day come back and would 100% recommend staying here.

    Response from Luciano:

Ringrazio Jaspreet & Jasppreet per l'ottima pubblicità dello studio e di Atrani! La loro descrizione è un buon "biglietto da visita" per gli ospiti che verranno in futuro.

  • Our stay at Luciano's apartment in Atrani was absolutely fabulous and I would highly recommend staying here.

Luciano was a very warm, generous and thoughtful host. It was the little things that made the difference. When we arrived, he had left us a breakfast basket, some juice and a plate of local sweets to get us started. He would pop by regularly to check that we were ok, let us know about events / festivals happening nearby (which we probably would have missed otherwise) and was always willing to help with any questions we had. On our last day, he even woke early and drove us down to Amalfi as it was raining.

The apartment is located in Atrani and is across the road from the beach. From the window, you have a lovely view out onto the sea. It is clean, good sized studio with a small kitchenette which is fine for basic cooking. The only slight downside with the apartment is that, being next to the road, the traffic noise can be a little loud.

Atrani itself is a really pleasant town and only a 10 minute walk along the coast to Amalfi, but it is much less noisy and overcrowded. It is an ideal place to be based to see the rest of the Amalfi coast. In the evening the main square in Atrani is also a great place to while away a few hours watching the locals relaxing while their kids scamper around playing hide and seek. There are also a couple of lovely restaurants in Atrani - Le Palme (try the Amalfi lemon linguini) and La Paranza (bit pricier but delicious).

Overall we really enjoyed our stay here and would love to visit again.

    Thank you Luciano!

  • My best friend and I absolutely loved lucianos gorgeous apartment in Atrani. It was in an ideal location right above Atrani square and only a 10 minute walk to amalfi. When I come back to amalfi I will definitely stay in lucianos apartment.
