The Schoolhouse B&B is a converted school located in Middle River MN. The Family Room is a large converted classroom with 2 full sized beds, a toddler bed, and extra books and games for families. Guests have access to the school gym & playground. The Schoolhouse has a cozy lounge where guests can prepare and eat meals & stream movies on our large screen tv. There are shared bathrooms and locker rooms, and a washer and dryer on site. Guests can also request night time access to the library.

The space
Staying at the Schoolhouse B&B is a one of a kind experience. You are sleeping in a converted classroom that has chalkboards, books, games, and learning materials. you can spend time in the gym shooting hoops, or curl up in the library for the weekend with thousands of books to yourself.

Guest access
Guests have access to their own private classroom with 2 full sized beds, a toddler bed, a sink, shelves of books and games, a table, and several desks. Guests have access to a lounge with large kitchen spaces, tables, comfortable furniture and a smart TV. Guests share bathrooms, locker rooms, and the gym. The library will be opened to guests by special request. Breakfasts are also available by request for a small additional fee.

Neighborhood highlights

Middle River is a fantastic little community. During the winter months we have a giant hill for sledding, an ice rink and warming house, and plenty of ice fishing opportunities within driving distance. Warmer seasons offer world class hunting and bird watching, with state and national wildlife refuges nearby. The 'Middle River Goose Festival' event each fall was voted one of Minnesota's 'can't miss' experiences. Our little town hosts its own community theater with performances in the summer and fall months, as well as children's theater programming.
