In 2006 while visiting New Zealand from my hometown of Chicago, I met Patrick who was born and raised outside Waitomo. In 2010, Patrick and I moved from Boise, ID to Patrick's family's farm where we keep busy raising two children and pasture fed beef cattle. I love living where we do and enjoy sharing our homes, farm and bits of local knowledge with travelers to this area.
