Our House offers a very spacious apartment near the center of the city.
The House is an example of a Queen Anne Victorian two-story house built in San Diego in 1889. We converted one level of the house as a vacation rental.
Sherman Heights is the Historical Heart of San Diego's beginning. Many beautiful homes from the end of the century can be seen throughout the area.
The two bedroom apartment offers the comfort of a hotel and the individuality of a BnB. The apartments is on second floor therefore there are stairs. The place is fully equipped and has its private entrance, a spacious living area, two conected bedrooms and its own bathroom.
Bedroom 1 has a queen size bed, Bedroom 2 is small but also has a queen size bed.
The two bedrooms connect to one another and you need to pass through both to bathroom, so privacy may be an issue if you are with other people rather than family. There is also a large couch in the living room, TV and free WiFi.
The apartment has a full kitchen and the bathroom has a tub.
This house can be your home away from home!!!

Rene was a great host and the apartment was immaculate. It felt like staying at a mini-hotel above his home. The location is also fantastic, just a few minutes drive to any key site in San Diego and 15 minutes walk from downtown. Had a wonderful time and would not think twice before booking again. Thanks Rene!
Rene was very welcoming and communicative. The place was in excellent shape with big windows that let in great morning sunlight. It was an easy Uber ride to the Gas Lamp district (or 15 minute walk if you want to see more of the city). We'd definitely stay here again.
Rene was quick to communicate and flexible about arrival and departure. The apartment is upstairs in an historic late 1800's Victorian, in a mixed residential neighborhood. A small market is 1/2 block away, mexican food and JITB about two blocks up, and that's about it for walk-able amenities. It is spacious, occupies the whole upstairs and has two bedrooms, a living room, a kitchen and typically small bathroom for the period. Cab or Uber to Gaslamp and Convention Center are about 8 minutes and $8.
Rene was kind enough to let my brother stay without me when I couldn't make the trip. My brother described Rene's place as 'the best Airbnb ever', you can't get better than that.
Called Rene when we arrived and he came out and acquainted me with the apartment.
Rene was a lovely host. The apartment was clean and perfectly equipped with everything we needed. It's centrally located to all the hots spots in San Diego. We loved it! Thanks Rene!
If you are lucky enough to find a vacancy, grab it. You be super-glad you chose this place. The pictures don't do it justice. It's a beautiful, tastefully furnished 2 BR apartment offered by a gracious, accommodating host. It's also a $6 Uber ride to most downtown locations and the beach hotels, if you are attending a convention. My biz partner and I stayed there, each in our own private bedroom, for less than the price of one room at the Hilton. Thanks Rene for a real gem. we'll be back.

Hi, I was born and raised in San Diego. I have worked in management for High end quality hotels for most my career. I love to travel and know how important a nice place can enhance a trip. I like to garden and do outdoor activities and enjoy working on my Victorian Historical San Diego Home.
