Our stay with Sherry was very comfortable and refreshing after traveling for two days on the road. All of our questions before arriving were answered quickly, and Sherry welcomed us warmly. The breakfast was delicious, and the serenity was enjoyed before hitting the road once more!
Andy and Sherry went above and beyond to accommodate us during our stay. I can't say enough about the peaceful atmosphere and the positive can-do attitude of this listing. Sherry welcomed my daughter who was playing in a field hockey tournament in Lancaster. She made contact via text to ensure that she had full information on where she was going and contact information. Sherry even offered to drive my daughter to the dorms in Millersville for a very reasonable price. The room was cozy and comfy. Most of all, these are very very sweet folks and I would recommend this listing with caveat.
This was the first time my husband and I used airbnb to book a room. Our reservation was confirmed in less than an hour and communication with Andy and Sherry was excellent. Their house is beautiful and they welcomed us with open arms. The neighborhood was quiet. Sherry seemed proud of York, PA and had lots of recommendations on what to do/see. The breakfast that's included is delicious! Sherry made baked oatmeal from a PA Dutch recipe. We ate it on their patio in their gorgeous backyard. They said there was no rush to check out. All in all, I would make a return visit.
We enjoyed our stay. Andy and Sherry were very nice and helpful. I wish I was told that the house is inappropriate for children. The kids had a great time but we were afraid of them breaking things and being loud and messy. All in all our stay was enjoyable.
We arrived later than expected on a weeknight, but Andy stayed up to let us in and show us the house. We had the entire upstairs of their house, which was two bedrooms and a full bath. Everything was clean and comfortable, and Andy and Sherry were welcoming and friendly. They made us baked oatmeal for breakfast, which was a really great surprise.
We arrived late (midnight) with a friend on our way back to New York and Andy & Sherry were very accomodating for late check-in. You really have 2 rooms for yourself and the house is very nicely decorated. We really enjoyed the breakfast on the patio outside :) Will definitely recommend to stay here !
