Trendy and very central 1 bedroom

Apartment - Entire home/apt · Chancery Ln, London, England WC2A, United Kingdom

The Space

The apartment is located very centrally in the Holborn / Chancery Lane area, in between the West End and the City. All major Central London attractions are within walking distance, and so are public transports (5 minutes walk to Chancery Lane station on the Central Line, 8 minutes walk to Holborn station from where you can take the Piccadilly Line directly to Heathrow). In addition, the apartment is only a few minutes walk from the borders of the Thames and the Northbank promenade. Finally, location is also ideal for professionals, with numerous law firms, investment banks or accounting firms within walking distance.

The apartment is on the 5th floor (without elevator) and is therefore very bright with sunlight from morning to evening (partially also through velux windows on the ceiling). It is 52m2 in size (about 550 square feet), sleeps 4 people, and consists of one large, very quiet bedroom (with large built-in wardrobes - please note that one of them is locked as it contains some of my stuff), one brand new bathroom with bathtub and rain shower, one brand new kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine and breakfast bar as well as a living room with sofabed, flat screen TV and electronic piano. Free wifi is also available.

I will also welcome you with a free bottle of your choice - prosecco, white wine or red wine.

Finally, I offer a free one-day gym pass per guest for stays over a week. Weekly gym passes can be arranged for a fee on request.

Overall Guest Satisfaction

Check In
  • We spent 10 days in this beautiful apartment and were very pleased with our stay. Clean and comfortable, quiet and bright. If you don't want to watch your favorite TV program, you can read one of the numerous travel books or play the piano:) .
Dear Stephan, many thanks you did not forget the espresso machine, it was so useful to me! The 5th floor stairs are worth the effort but very difficult for travelers with big suitcases. The location is amazing - near to British Museum and a few stops from Oxford street ( bus 25 if you don't like the underground), you live on a quiet street as if you were far away from the tourist crowds.

    Response from Stephan:

Thanks so much Latchezar for your very kind review. It was a pleasure to welcome you in London, and it is nice to hear you really enjoyed the apartment -both the location and the piano, books and brand new espresso machine! We very much hope to see you again soon. Thanks again so much.

  • This is an excellent apartment, in the heart of the city. If you are coming to London to meet any of the big law firms this is an ideal place to stay. Just a few minutes walk to the Tube or on a sunny afternoon you can easily walk to Covent Garden and Leicester Square too. The key handover worked well and the bottle of Prosecco in the fridge was much appreciated too. I would definitely stay here again.

  • This was our first AirBnB experience and it was great ! The apartment is spacious, clean, well equiped (nice bathroom !, there are even adaptators if you forgot yours), everything is exactly like the pictures. We also recommand this flat for anyone looking for a very central location in London : everything is nearby (tubes, buses, grocery stores, covent garden, soho...).Stephan is helpfull if needed. We will definitely come back again during a next trip. Thank you Stephan !

  • We had a fantastic time at the flat in chancery lane. It's very quiet and clean. Covent garden and Soho is just around the corner. And after a few drinks the stairs up to the flat are easier to climb. Thank you very much i would recommend to everybody.

  • My husband and I enjoyed a 5 night stay at Stephan's apartment. Fantastic location close to Holburn and Chancery lane tube stations. But we took the opportunity to walk most everywhere we needed to go in the city.

The apartment was clean, warm and cozy. We didnt mind the stairs at all! Andy who met us at check-in was sweet and even left us with a nice bottle of wine.
The next time we are fortunate enough to visit London again we would definitely consider Stephan's place! Thank you for making our visit a great one!

I love travelling and therefore want to make sure my guests have a fantastic experience too. I split time between London and Berlin but also enjoy travelling to other major cities or some remote destinations.... this could be in the mountains or somewhere on a beach. I also like reading, writing, music, going out, working out and eating well!
