The yurt is located just three miles from the village of Bigfork and what it lacks in amenities it makes up for in sheer charm.
Inside the 20' yurt you will find a comfortable king size bed, a game table and two cozy lounge chairs to take in the panoramic Swan Mountain views from the expansive picture windows. Next door to the yurt you will find a small but functional shed that houses the incinerating toilet, cold water shower stall and a simple kitchenette.
Close proximity to recreation.
The space
The yurt is for those who enjoy simple pleasures. Having a place, larger than a tent, to spread out after a long day on trail. Kicking back in the evenings to play a board game or review the plan for the next days events. From the king size bed you can stargaze through the central dome of the yurt taking in Montana's Big Sky.

The property is within walking distance to the Swan River and is located one mile from the Bigfork Nature Trail.
Access directly from the property to a short two mile logging road on public land gets you to views of our beautiful rural community of Ferndale.

Just a few minutes outside of Bigfork is a little rural community called Ferndale. The yurt is just between Ferndale and Bigfork. Within 3 miles of the yurt you will find, local swimming holes at rivers and lakes, bike trails, walking trails, Flathead Lake State Park and the quaint village Bigfork. Our community has all of the amenities of a small town that you would expect with lake life vibes and arts culture too.

We wanted to start a family business that would allow us the opportunity to share our love of the outdoors with others. Having lived and traveled throughout much of this great country we couldn’t have picked a better places to start this endeavor. Lakes, mountains, rivers, and millions of acres of public lands are just a few of the features that make Bigfork, MT the perfect “base camp” for a wide range of outdoor pursuits. Our purpose is to provide you with quality guided adventures, local insight to better enjoy your own, and a comfortable place to stay in between.
