This unique property takes you back in time. The child- and pet-friendly Blacksmith Bungalow is located in The Village, in between the Whiskey Still and the Smokehouse. Nearby is the Woodshop, Cider Mill, Shingle Mill, Victorian Cottage, and Train Depot. Originally owned by George Carney, the Village was built as a movie back-drop for friend Donna Douglas (Elly May Clampett of Beverly Hillbillies fame).

For intimate getaways for two, check our other airbnb listing "The Charming Victorian."

The space
The Blacksmith Bungalow was built in 2019 to take the place of the original Blacksmith shed. Stylish furnishings and high quality linens make your stay especially comfortable. We provide many amenities, including an assortment of spices, condiments, and other kitchen items for your convenience.

Enjoy your rocking chairs on your covered patio while listening to the crickets and owls in the evenings, after an amazing firefly show. Nature trails take you to the year-round creek and pond with a forest backdrop.

This 54-acre property is simply gorgeous. Our nearest neighbor is nearly 1/2 mile away and is only visible from the lower field. The Village is nestled at the top of the hill and completely surrounded by mature oak forest. Nature walks are highly recommended, but keep your eyes open to spot the amazing array of wildflowers in season.

I am a quiet and tidy house guest and love using Airbnb any chance I get. My husband and I are planning to put our own guest house on Airbnb by June 1. I travel a great deal for my work and provide reconciliation services to couples, families, and churches on-site in their location.
