Welcome to the cottage!

The cottage accommodates 1-4 people. You can easily get to the cottage without a car and we also have plenty of free parking space for cars and other vehicles.

Relax, enjoy peace and intimacy. Sauna in gentle steams and take a warm bath in the sky all year round. Sit down at the fire tonight.

Play, get busy, barbecue. Walk along old village roads and forest paths. Ski the fields and paddle on the river

or just come to bed.

The space
The 18 square meters tiny cottage is located in a quiet residential area in the yard of a duplex. It's a big yard and there's no view from the house at the back of the cottage. There are three free parking spots in front of the house and a heat pole for cars.

The cabin has a bunk bed for two adults and a 140cm sofa bed. A pack n play and high chair are on loan if needed. Top covers, pillows, sheets, and towels are included in the cost of the cottage rental. When you use the sauna, we also provide you with a tablecloth.

The cottage has a small kitchen with oven and stove, microwave, refrigerator with freezer compartment, coffee makers and kettle. There are dishes for eating and cooking, as well as tea, coffee, cocoa and spices.

There is a separate dry toilet in the cottage toilet. There's no running water in the cabin. The toilet and kitchen have tap water tanks for cold and warm water and the sewerage works to the tank under the cottage. You can top up the water tanks in the sauna bathroom with potable water.

The cottage has electricity, radiators and underfloor heating in the toilet. In the heat of the day, you will get air conditioning in the cottage and WiFi will be provided for your use if needed.

When renting a cottage, you will have access to a wood-burning sauna and bathroom at the entrance of the house. A bathroom with a shower and tub gets cold and hot running water. There is also a private terrace in connection with the sauna.

The wooden hot tub is located next to the cottage and is available for an additional fee, where you can find more information below. The temperature limit for using the hot tub is -15 degrees. The hot tub is made of larch and has a diameter of 180 cm. You bathe at least four people at a time. Leaf spruce is a material that emits natural essential oils that make the bath experience even more relaxing and healthy. In the hot tub, we use clean water from our own borehole

In addition to the cottage, you can use the old shed with a shelter for your stay as well as wooden and toy warehouses, a grill house, a gas barbecue, fireplaces and a playhouse with play areas.

In the summer (June to August) our yard also has a pool filled with seawater for guests. The river runs a few feet from the cottage and the water is bathing too. The river is only suitable for people with good swimming, as well as the lack of a dock and ladder.

There are also two bikes available for you to rent your cabin.

In the cottage, many things are old and a little squeaky and recycled, but maybe that makes it special!

When renting a cottage, available at extra cost:

- Hot tub filled and preheated 60 €/day, extra days +30 €/day

Reservations for the hot tub no later than the previous day. The filling and heating will last at least 7 hours. The temperature limit for using the hot tub is -15 degrees Celsius.

- Caravan & Caravan 20 €/day (without cottage rental or additional accommodation)

- Laundry 5 €/time

- Extra cleaning from extra mess 150 €

Where you’ll be

Vantaa, Finland

The countryside is an idyllic village on the big corner of the Vantaa River. The river runs around the beautiful and fairly tall hills in the middle of the Region. The river valley has a variable appearance. The southern valley is small and narrow. In contrast, the northern valley is gentler and forms a large unified cultivation square that connects with Riipilä fields.

The village of Seutula is located on a leafy hill at the intersection of the old village roads, Riipiläntie and Katriinanti. The village has a long history, as the river valley has already formed in the early Middle Ages. There are wealthy old farms in the countryside and there are also two manors of cultural historical value: Katrineberg and Königstedt.

The countryside has retained its rural features. The village has had newer settlements since the 1950s and 1960s.

The countryside is an area with lush vegetation. The village's appearance has been compared with the beech forested cultural landscapes of Central Europe. The roads leading to the manors are lined with old oaks and groves. Oak grows in lush cliff conditions among maple and other noble deciduous trees. In the midst of cultivation, narrow estuaries flourish.
