Welcome to a typical parisian apartment with just newly remodeled, with lights and Not a noise !
You'll be conveniently located a couple minutes walk from the great Avenue de Breteuil (with the amazing invalide building from Napoleon) and the Montparnasse train station that will take you anywhere in the west coast and south coast of France. You ll also be at the intersection of 3 main underground lines ( 6, 12 & 4) which will take you anywhere in Paris within a 15 minutes range. Line 6 will take you to the famous Charles de Gaulles Avenue. Line 4 will take you to the trendy Marais, Pigalle but also to the Sacré Coeur. Line 12 will take you to the posh shops & fashion bars and restaurants of Saint Germain area.
There is also 2 velib stations around the apartment, one located just downstairs, so you can bike around the city.
The neighborhood is also typically parisian. A lot of little shops, restaurants, brunches, farmers markets and great boulangerie... I love this place ! :-)
The apartment itself has just been totally redesigned by an architect. It is located on the 3rd floor (with an elevator).
The apartment fits 2 persons very comfortably. You can easily fit 4 person using the queen size pull out sofa in the living room to fit 2 more persons.
The bedroom offers a queen size bed and a full closet where you can store your clothes so you feel at home. The bedroom is located on the inner courtyard and is very quiet.
You'll find a luxury bathroom with a bathtub and a shower.
The kitchen is brand new and fully equipped with coffee maker, toaster, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, oven and microwave.
The kitchen has its own little bar which is very comfortable for cooking while talking with friends. The orientation of both the living room and the room is west so you'll have plenty of light starting at mid day until sunset.
The apartment has a flat screen TV with cable channels and WiFi internet.
This apartment is nothing like the ad. The host lies when he says it´s been newly remodeled - the bathroom and the kitchen are rusty and everything is very old and badly conserved. To make things worse, I found the place in a condition that can only be described as shamefully filthy. Because of that, I made contact with Airbnb and they gave me a refund of 400 euros - I sent pictures of the thick dust I found in many places, the dirt in the microwave, the excessive frost in the freezer that didn´t even allow the door to be closed! That makes me wonder what made all the other guests write such good reviews about this host - it´s not plausible mine was the first bad experience ever, it just can´t be that this apartment has ever been clean because the kind of dirt I found there is such that seems to just have been there for years! And since I have already been offered money by another host in a previous reservation to lie about the problems I had, that really makes me doubt the whole Airbnb system... The pictures in this ad are manipulated so that you don´t see the details, but don´t be fooled: the place is big for Parisian standards and it is well located, but the quality of everything in the place is horrible: the sofa has stains, all the sheets and towels smell like a wet dog, the kitchen ware is indecent, the coffee machine doesn´t work, there are no proper wine glasses, no proper knife to cook, only eating knifes... Really, Airbnb shouldn´t allow this person to keep on fooling people like this. The host was really dishonest and non-cooperative when I arrived and tried to solve the problems with him, even telling me the apartment was cheap and a good deal so I shouldn´t be surprised. This person has no regard for his guests and underestimated me for 2 weeks until finally Airbnb took action. I guess he didn´t count on that. Really, really sad experience. Not recommended at all. It would only be fair if Airbnb allowed links in this comment so that I could show pictures of the REAL state of the apartment I found. You can always contact me if you wish, though.
It was great stay in Paris. Laurent's apartments are clean, comfortable and well located. It is truly parisian style! I love it very much! In the morning you can go to the nearest cafe for breakfast but you can also visit Monoprix to buy all you need. It is in 5 minutes by walk near Montparnasse tower. Metro station is in one minute by slow walk and in 10 minutes you can enjoy main places of Paris: Eiffel tour, Tuilrie garden, Louvre, Notre-Dame or you can get there by walk, it take only 15-20 minutes.
In the apartments you can find all you need! I and my friend enjoyed this journey very much by staying in this lovely place!
It's pretty good location. Its a good place for 2 people, we were 4 and it was a little bit cramped. I would recommend the place for 2 people, if you want to walk to Eiffel Tower.
You get the feeling of being in a big city as it right in the middle of everything.
Nice apartment, with nice location close to the metro and buses. Laurent the host is a nice guy as well.
Laurent it´s a good boy and he does all the things faster than the people usually do.
We had a great time with my friends. The apartmen is beautiful, near to the eifeld tower and confortable! I recoment this aparment.
Hello ! I'm a 31 years old from Paris, born and raised. I love traveling, mostly for my passion : surfing. I lived for six years in London.
Earlier this year, I started my company with my brother and a long-time friend. So far so good but I need an extra bit of cash to be able to invest more. I also spend a lot of time in the south west of France, Biarritz, where I am from and try to go back surfing as often as I can. So when I'm out of town, I rent my brand new flat, meet new people and hopefully give them some good tips on what to do in Paris when you wanna live the parisian life !
One more thing you should know about me. I love food. I love cooking, having some friends over and make them a nice meal or just going to the restaurant. By the way, I know a lot of super nice restaurants in Paris and very cool bars and I'll be more than happy to give you some great addresses.
Enjoy your stay and feel free to contact me should you have any question.
