"Alpaca My Bags" offers a wonderful experience with Alpacas & Scottish Highlands. A peaceful night's sleep on our 54 acre ranch~our little piece of paradise. A wonderful nights sleep ~$249. Serenity, Giggles & Memories~PRICELESS! Only 10 miles to Rifle State Park, a beautiful triple 70' waterfall flowing over on East Rifle Creek. Enjoy hiking the trails & exploring the caves. We are a short 17 minute drive to Glenwood Springs, an outdoor enthusiast's haven. Hot Springs, Skiing, Hiking!

The space
This newly remodeled house will be a wonderful retreat for family/friends to enjoy. (There are tenants in the basement of the house. They have their own entrance.) Alpacas will be right outside the backyard!! If you are an alpaca enthusiast or just love animals, this is the space for you!! My husband and I live on the property and love sharing alpaca tidbits with the guests! Be sure to let me know when you would like a scheduled one on one with the alpacas. (Small fee). This will be an experience that you will talk about for years to come! Two of the cutest Highlands, if you would like to enjoy “Coffee & Coos!”

Guest access
Guests have access to the entire upstairs of the house. Parking right out front. A nice covered front porch and a covered deck in the back. You can enjoy the gorgeous views while gazing at the alpacas grazing in the fields.

Other things to note
✔️The house sits on the back of the property and is very peaceful for those times you just need a break from a busy life!

✔️The Airbnb is the upstairs of the house, 1500 SF, there is also a basement that is used as an Airbnb. Each place has its own entrance.

✔️You can enjoy the alpacas & highlands any time during your stay. But if you would like a more intimate experience with alpacas, let me know. We can schedule your one on one time! (A small fee of $49 for your group).

✔️Bring a cup of coffee and enjoy the two cutest Highlands you will ever meet! “Coffee & Coos!”

✔️Fully stocked kitchen with the essentials you’ll need to create your favorite dish.

✔️Gas grill.

✔️Communal fire pit.

✔️Gorgeous Rifle State Park nearby.

✔️Dinner and drinks at Miner’s Claim in Silt is a real treat!!

✔️Gorgeous sunsets from the back deck!!!

✔️ We provide starter amenities in the
bathrooms, kitchen, and laundry room to get you through the first couple of days.
If additional supplies are needed during your stay, guests are responsible for purchasing them.

Cory & I purchased the 53 in 2017 to have more room to grow our Sopris Alpaca herd. We spent the first year bringing this 1896 historic property back to its natural beauty. After finishing our beautiful cabin, we renovated the rustic building behind the cabin that is now our Alpaca Boutique. And finally, we have finished our last renovations. A shabby chic farm studio we are now using as an Airbnb. And, one more house on the property that we completely renovated and are using as 2 separate Airbnb's. One sleeps 6 and the other sleeps 4. Sitting right among the alpacas, you will enjoy a peaceful nights sleep and a lot of serenity! We are open daily from 10-4 so that others can come back and enjoy a bit of farm life and have an Alpaca experience. We look forward to sharing our beautiful, serene property with you. Come stay with us and fall in love with the wonderful world of Alpacas!!
