My friend and I had a beautiful, calm and recharging Salt Spring experience. Really loved Sabine's place! Very quiet and centrally located on the island. Close to Mt Maxwell. 10 minute drive from Ganges. The loft was tidy and simple, warm and inviting. Check it out!
We stayed at Sabine's amazing loft for 3 nights, and enjoyed it a lot. We pretty much had the whole detached building to ourselves (the first floor was a shed/workshop), and the loft was both spacious and cutely furnished. The area was in the middle of the woods, so we had very quiet nights and were only a bit away from Mount Maxwell hiking trail. The shops in Ganges are a mere 10 minute drive away too.
The place was very lovely, and was situated in a beautiful, quiet and secluded environment. It was about a 10 minute drive from Fulford and Ganges. Sabine was very welcoming and friendly. There was a minor issue regarding the water quality of the loft, the water had a rather strong scent of sulfur (rotten egg) which made all water usage somewhat challenging. However, we still had a great time in Ganges and were happy with our stay.
Awesome loft in a beautiful, central location on Salt Spring Island. Sabine was a friendly and welcoming hostess and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
I loved staying at Sabine's loft for two nights. Her house is gorgeous and the loft was cozy and bright. It was perfect for my friend and I. I loved waking up early and drinking coffee on the little table by the front window. I never met Sabine but the loft was clear and easy to settle into. I would love to stay again!
Sabine's lovely little loft was a great place to stay for our tango weekend on Salt Spring. It's well appointed, clean, private and has lots of light and a nice view of the woods. We were in and out so we didn't see a lot of Sabine other than to greet her on arrival but she was very friendly. Overall a great experience that we hope to repeat again soon.
Sabine's place is perfect and was true to it's description. I have been using airbnb for years and usually have a lot of interaction with the host> While I love that part sometimes it's nice when traveling with friends to feel a little extra solitude. Sabine left the key for us and we settled in and only crossed paths once. She was polite and genuine, trusting and friendly. He place is the best and fit 3 of us (a couple and myself) perfectly. I had the foamy on the floor and had a great sleep! Truly a tranquil setting and well worth staying...
I'm a cheerful, active and fun loving person spending as much time outside as I can preferably with friends biking, hiking or running. I would like to do more traveling but living here on this island makes up for having to stay at home too much. I enjoy greeting my guests, making them feel comfortable and telling them about Salt Spring.
