Lots of trendy restaurants, most of the great museums and buildings of the city like Picasso Museum, five minutes walking to the Barceloneta beach, and nightclubs springing up all over the place. Nearby the Rambla and the City Hall, all the main attractions of the city are near home.
What is more, the apartament is located into the roman walls so it is the oldest part of the city. The small balconies faces to the Pati Llimona. The Pati Llimona is one of the most interesting XIX's century buildings in Barcelona, built using the remains of ancient Roman buildings shows a combination of modern and ancient world ...It is great to walk through the rooms and discover the Roman stone walls. It is also a very active cultural center, and possibly one of the largest community centers in Barcelona. There are always exhibitions, courses, dance ... hey, drop by without having planned and you will always discover a pleasant surprise.
We propose you an ideal stay in a cute vintage decorated double bedroom. Internet conexion, sunny nice living room to chill out, and the perfect kitchen if you want to cook somenthing. An unbeatable proposal for your stay in Barcleona, just steps from the main city attractions.
The oldest section and heart of the city of Barcelona is the Gothic quarter. This section is home to the incredible architecture and culture that marked the middle ages. Here are the palaces and walls first built by the Romans, along with some temples monumental to their once great leaders. It takes approximately 3 hours to walk the Gothic Quarter during the afternoon. In the evening, it may take you much longer, as this is also the home to some of the best bars and nightlife that Barcelona has to offer.
The Gothic Quarter has a little of everything to offer the traveler. If history and architecture are among your interests, this is the place to capture both on film. If clubbing and dancing are part of the vacation, the gothic quarter of Barcelona is vacation paradise.

Eric and Esther are very nice and offer me some travel information. The apartment is convenient because it is near to L4 line and La ramble street. There is a cute cat in an apartment who seems to love sleeping in the bed！For long-term visitors，it is a good choice.
Everything was as it was in the description. The location was awesome, because its right in the city center, near the sea, but also in a quite place. The hosts were very nice, communicative, explained everythig around and let us to feel like at home. Highly recommended place to say at :)
We had a nice time in Barcelona, at Esther's place. The room isn't very big but with a nice interior, perfectly located in a quiet area of the Barri Gothic. Facilities were good.
Esther is a pleasant, friendly and caring host.
thank you very much for everything !
Soon as I come to Barcelona, I will contact you again.
Have a nice time
Everything was great. The location is really the high point! Esther was very friendly and gave us all the privacy and warm attention!!! Only parking might be a little expensive in this area, worth planning or booking in advance!
Esther is very nice. She gave us plenty of suggestions of the restaurant. The apartment is a vintage style in a very old historical like building. I like the decorations very much and every details she made. Mixa the cat is a beautiful one even she is afraid of me. The location is in the very centre of the old city. I must say that's my best experience in airbnb until now.
Hi my name is Esther,
I live in Barcelona with Eric and our little cat Mixa. I'm Catalan and Eric is from Argentina. We live in an amazing neighborhood, it is the perfect place for travelers, in the city center and close to the beach. I love practicing Yoga and Acroyoga and I’m keen on dancing belly dance, butoh and contact improvisation. I adore Japanese food, black and white pictures , vintage and the Mediterranean.
Two writers I love: Marguerite Duras and Jack Kerouac.
We are friendly, easygoing and open-minded and we greatly enjoy meeting people from all over the world who come to stay at our apartment.
I aim to make your stay as comfortable and as enjoyable as possible. If you have any special requirements then please just ask!
