Pear Tree Cottage is the perfect combination of city break and escape to the country all in one. A comfortable, tranquil, stylish three bedroom, two bathroom detached barn conversion the cottage comfortably sleeps 6.
Pear Tree is located 5 miles from the city centre, tucked away along a country lane overlooking open countryside. With it’s own private garden complete with fruit trees guests can take a country walk straight from the door. This is a great base to explore Yorkshire.

The space
Under new ownership since late 2020 Pear Tree cottage remains a comfortable, stylish, fully modernised three bedroom, two bathroom barn conversion. Guests can enjoy a tranquil private setting with uninterrupted countryside views. There is a large private garden where guests can BBQ and dine alfresco.
There is a modern fully equipped open plan kitchen dining room with dining to seat 6. A separate utility room provides laundry facilities. The large lounge offers ample comfortable seating, a feature fire and a smart TV.
The three spacious bedrooms offer guests real comfort. There is a high standard of finish with solid oak furniture through out . The modern ground floor wet room as well as a stunning first floor bathroom complete with slipper bath and rainfall shower add a touch of luxury. Cot and highchair available on request. Ample secure private parking is available .
Please note WIFI upgraded July 2026 to starlink satellite WiFi giving speeds >100mbps
